Ramming Event in Toronto

On Monday, April 23, 2018, a ramming event occurred in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Several fatalities appear to have occurred.

Police have arrested a suspect after a white Ryder van mounted the curb and struck numerous pedestrians in Toronto.

The incident happened on Yonge Street south of Finch Avenue, with several people being struck.

Late on Monday, it was announced 10 people have died.

Witness Alex Shaker, who was driving southbound at the time, says the van was travelling at high speed on the sidewalk. The van was also southbound.

“He started going down on the sidewalk and crumbling down people one by one,” Shaker told CTV News Channel on Monday afternoon.

Shaker said he saw the vehicle strike someone with a stroller.

“He just destroyed so many people’s lives,” he said. “Every single thing that got in his way.”

Photos posted online show multiple individuals on the ground.

Carol Roberts, who witnessed the aftermath, says she saw “a lot of people lying lifeless on the ground.”

“It was just so many bodies,” she told CTV News Channel.

Witness Phil Zullo, who was driving northbound, says he first noticed the commotion when he saw police taking down a male suspect.

Zullo says he continued north, where he saw “shoes and hats flown everywhere.”

The suspect was arrested beside the van on Poyntz Avenue off of Yonge, just south of Sheppard Avenue West. The van is marked as belonging to the rental company Ryder.

Video shared with CTV News shows the suspect pointing a small, dark object at police, with his back to the van. Police can be seen taking cover behind their vehicle and shouting at him to get down.

“Get down!” the officer is heard shouting.

“I have a gun in my pocket,” the suspect can be heard saying.

“Get down or you’ll be shot!” the officer says.

The camera turns away from the confrontation for approximately eight seconds, then looks back to show the suspect on the ground, face-down, with the officer cuffing him.

Another video recorded from a nearby building shows the moment missed in the previous video. The suspect can be seen walking out in the street with the object in his hand still pointed at the officer. After approximately five seconds he drops the weapon, throws out his arms and backs up to the curb.

Mass Transit Mass Deaths: April 7-9

On April 7, 2017, in Stockholm, Sweden, a ramming attack occurred when a hijacked truck was deliberately driven into a crowd at Drottninggatan (Queen St). Five were killed and 14 were seriously injured. The attack was similar to the Berlin attack of December 19, 2016, in which a truck was deliberately driven into a Christmas market in Berlin, killing 12 people and injuring 56 others. Not to mention Nice, France.

It was a busy weekend for mass deaths synced to mass transit of people, especially students.

On April 6, 2018, the Humboldt Broncos bus crash occurred. The bus collided with a truck near Armley, Saskatchewan, Canada, killing 15 people and injuring 14. It was headed for Nipawin, carrying members of the Humboldt Broncos, an ice hockey team that plays in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, as well as coaches and others associated with the team. The accident occurred when the passenger bus carrying the team collided with a tandem semi-trailer truck at the intersection of Highways 35 and 335 near Armley in the Rural Municipality of Connaught, Saskatchewan at approximately 5:00 p.m. CST.

On Saturday, on the first anniversary of the Stockholm attack, April 7, 2018, a man, 48-year-old German national named Jens R., drove a van into people seated outside restaurants in a pedestrian square in the old part of the German city of Münster. He killed two people and injured about 20 others, six seriously.

A shooter, identified as Raheem D. King, on a chartered coach bus shot and killed three fellow passengers with a rifle while the bus was traveling in Rockford, Illinois, early Saturday morning, April 7, 2018. King was charged with four counts of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting, police said in a press release. About 3:30 a.m., officers were called to the 400 block of North Springfield Avenue for a report that several people had been shot. Officers from the Rockford Police Department found three people on the private limousine-style bus who had been shot to death.

On Sunday night, April 8, 2018, a charter bus carrying teenagers returning from a spring break trip struck a bridge overpass on Long Island, killing one, seriously injuring six passengers and mangling the entire length of the top of the bus. The crash happened shortly after 9 p.m. on the Southern State Parkway in Lakeview, according to New York State Police. One of the six injured passengers had very serious injuries, said State Police Maj. David Candelaria. Thirty-seven other passengers suffered minor injuries.

On Monday, April 9, 2018, a Himalayan bus plunged 200 feet into a gorge after slipping off the road – killing at least 27 school children and three others. The 42-seater coach was owned by the private school Wazir Ram Singh Pathania and fell into a deep gorge in the Himalayan foothills in India. Children were heading home when the yellow bus crashed off the mountain road. Shocking pictures show a large crowd gathered around the stricken vehicle at the bottom of a steep slope. At least 27 students – all aged under 10 – have died along with two teachers and the bus drivers.

Mosque Attacks

One Mosque was burned in Texas, and six people were shot dead at a Canadian mosque over the weekend. These incidents followed in the wake of a week of President Trump's executive orders that are being seen as a "Muslim ban" on travel to the USA.

An early-morning fire on Saturday, January 28, 2017, destroyed a Victoria, Texas mosque that was a target of hatred several years ago and experienced a burglary last week.

Meanwhile...

Quebec police said six people were killed and an additional eight were wounded in a shooting at a mosque on Sunday, January 29, 2017.

Some of the wounded were gravely injured, said Christine Coulombe, the Quebec provincial police spokeswoman. Those killed ranged in age from approximately 35 to 70 years old, she said. Thirty-nine people were in the mosque at the time of the attack.

Coulombe initially said two people have been arrested. On Monday, police confirmed that only one was a suspect, and the other individual arrested in d'Orleans was an eyewitness.

The Quebec shooter, who killed 6 in a mosque, is a white male student who made right wing & anti-woman remarks on Facebook. Court clerk confirms the name of the suspect in Canadian mosque attack is Alexandre Bissonnette.

Quebec City Islamic Cultural Center President Mohamed Yangui said the shooting happened in the men's section of the mosque.

Local newspaper Le Soleil said it had obtained information that the suspect was a 27-year-old with "a Québec name," and one had an AK-47 automatic weapon in his possession. Police, however, have not released nor confirmed these details.

A witness told CBC's French-language service Radio-Canada that two masked individuals entered the mosque.

"It seemed to me that they had a Quebecois accent. They started to fire, and they they shot they yelled, 'Allahu akbar!' The bullets hit people that were praying. People who were praying lost their lives. A bullet passed right over my head," said the witness who asked to remain anonymous.

Other mosques in Quebec experienced "incidents" throughout the weekend.

Police protection has been increased around mosques throughout New York City.

This is just the beginning.

Black Squirrel, Illuminati, 322, and Skull & Bones

A black squirrel ran behind President Barack Obama of the USA, and Prime Minister Trudeau of Canada, today, March 10, 2016, during a Rose Garden news conference.

The black squirrel population at the National Zoo, in Washington, D. C. is a group I personally have seen on my zoological field visits there in the 1970s. The black squirrels are well-fed by the zoo visitors waiting to see the giant pandas, and, needless to say, naturally protected in these surroundings. They apparently have spread throughout the city, into Lafayette Square.

Justin Pierre James Trudeau PC MP (born December 25, 1971) is a Canadian politician who is the 23rd and current Prime Minister of Canada, as well as the Leader of the Liberal Party. Forbes has ranked Trudeau the 69th most powerful person in the world.

Almost immediately, Twitter acknowledged the melanistic squirrel sighting with this hashtag: #illuminati.

The Illuminati? Apparently, there is a rumor making the rounds linking the Illuminati, Skull and Bones, and the 22nd March 2016. in a global predictive fashion. As this thinking goes, the date has been part of the planning, according to conspiracy circles, of the Bilderberg Group, the Center on Foreign Relations, Bohemian Grove, Council of 300, Club of Rome and the Trilateral Commission for decades, with them all pointing to March 22nd 2016.

A great deal of energy has been given over to deciphering what exactly the Illuminati is. Or what Skull & Bones involves. Or, for that matter, what the Office of the President concerns.

Will anything special happen on 3.22.2016? Was a black squirrel on 3.10.2016, only a black squirrel?

"Lone Gunman" at Canada's War Memorial & Parliament Hill

The day after...Halifax's The Chronicle Herald image by cartoonist Bruce MacKinnon is being called the "perfect tribute."

Breaking News on 10/22/14:

At least one person was shot this morning at a war memorial near Canada's Parliament in Ottawa.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reported that a soldier was shot. Others have seen a body inside Parliament.

The active shooters ran towards Parliament Hill, got into the main entrance to the Canadian Parliament, fired dozens of shoots, and then moved through the hallway. Parliament went on lockdown, officials reported.

Various accounts discussed different parts of a confusing whole. The Red Dirt Report mentioned that there was a sighting of a "man with long black hair, his face covered by a white scarf with decals on it and wearing a black jacket."

A member of Parliament, Bob Zimmer tweeted that the "lone gunman is deceased."

The suspect has reportedly been identified as Canadian-born Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, was was killed in a Center Block shootout.

(But there are other early reports there may be other shooters - two or three. And that they may be on the Parliament's roof. All seem to be incorrect.)

The suspect:

Michael Abdul Zehaf-Bibeau has been identified as the shooting suspect at Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Canada on Wednesday. Zehaf-Bibeau is a Canadian native born in 1982.

"Zehaf" is Algerian, so some are speculating he is Algerian. Bibeau (Bibaud, Bibaut) is a French nickname for a heavy drinker, from a derivative of Latin bibere, "to drink."

Bibeau was shot dead by the Canadian Parliament’s Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers. He was killed inside the Canadian Parliament’s Center Block building.

The victim:

The soldier who died is said to have been a member of The Argylls of Canada - 91st Canadian Highlanders.

In a photo from this week, here is Cpl Cirillo (left), and Cpl Stevenson on Guard at The National War Memorial in Ottawa. Both are members of The Argylls of Canada.

The soldier has been identified as Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, a reservist based out of Hamilton, Ontario.

The timing:

The Canadian contribution to the bombing of ISIS or IS have been codenamed Operation Impact by the Canadian Department of National Defence. Canadian fighter jets left for the Middle East to join in airstrikes on October 21, 2014.

October 22 is the anniversary from 1964, when a Canadian Multi-Party Parliamentary Committee selected the design which becomes the new official flag of Canada. (h/t RS)

Update/Noon Eastern:

There were two soldiers standing guard at the war memorial in Ottawa near Parliament, and a gunman shot one of them, a witness told CNN on Wednesday. Peter Henderson, a journalist, said other soldiers doing drills nearby ran to help the fallen soldier. Henderson said he knew the person shot was a soldier because of the ceremonial uniform the soldier was wearing.

There were "several shooting incidents in downtown Ottawa" on Wednesday morning, police said on Twitter. "Incidents occurred at National War Memorial, near the Rideau Centre and Parliament Hill." All Ottawa police buildings remain on lockdown and are closed to the public, police also said on Twitter.

There were "numerous gunmen" Wednesday morning at the Canada War Memorial shooting, said Marc Soucy of the Ottawa Police Service. Authorities are working to figure out if there were two or three gunmen, he said. Only one person was shot, Soucy said. Source.
Update/2:00 pm Eastern:

There are reports that one soldier was killed at the War Memorial. One gunman was also killed, apparently, inside Parliament.

Officials are saying that the reports of an incident near the Rideau Center (mall) has nothing to do with the shootings at the War Memorial and Parliament.

Today's events follows an incident on Monday, October 20, 2014, when 25-year-old Martin Couture-Rouleau ran over two soldiers. Couture-Rouleau was briefly detained at a Canadian airport in July 2013 when he sought to fly to Turkey. Police did not have enough evidence to charge him with seeking to join a terrorist group abroad and released him.

Couture-Rouleau was fatally shot by police after he struck the two soldiers with his car in a Quebec supermarket parking lot (shown above) -- a scenario which had been depicted only last month in IS propaganda. Police said Rouleau raced through a mall parking lot in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu about 11:30 a.m. Monday. He called 911 as this unfolded and told the operator that he was acting in the name of Allah.

The parking lot of the Tim Horton's where the solider was run down.

Late on Tuesday, Canada raised its national "terrorism" alert, officials said, after a soldier run over by a suspected jihadist died in hospital. That soldier's name is Patrice Vincent.

The Canada case appears to be a copycat of the murder of British soldier Lee Rigby in London in May 2013. Rigby was run over by two Muslim converts before being stabbed and hacked to death.

The statues at the top of the memorial symbolizes Peace and Liberty.

The National War Memorial is a cenotaph (surmounted by a bronze sculpture entitled "The Response") in stands in Confederation Square, Ottawa. A cenotaph is an "empty tomb" or a monument erected in honor of a person or group of people whose remains are elsewhere. The word derives from the Greek: κενοτάφιον = kenotaphion (kenos, one meaning being "empty," and taphos, "tomb").

Canadian Stabbing Spree Leaves Five Dead

There has been a mass stabbing spree in Canada that has left five dead, including two members of a rock band, Zackariah Rathwell and Josh Hunter.

Matt de Grood, 22, is accused of killing five people during an end-of-year college party in the Calgary suburb of Brentwood on April 15. Police say the attack began at 1:20 a.m. Five people -- four men and one woman -- were killed. De Grood has been charged with five counts of first-degree murder.

The suspect.
Less than a week after a stabbing in Pennsylvania left 22 injured, five college students have died in the "worst mass murder" in the Canadian city's history
A 23-year-old man will likely face murder charges after allegedly stabbing and killing five University of Calgary students at a party Tuesday.
After arriving at a party shortly after midnight on Tuesday, the suspect — who was an invited guest and is a also a student at the university — allegedly targeted other students individually, according to Calgary Police Chief Rick Hanson. “The suspect arrived at the party, obtained a large knife and targeted the victims one by one, stabbing them,” said Hanson.

Calling the incident “the worst mass murder in Calgary’s history,” the chief identified the arrested suspect as Matthew de Grood, a University of Calgary student.
Hanson said de Grood had no prior history with the police and was likely not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time. Police believe he brought a weapon directly from his place of work to the party, but used knife found at the party to stab his victims.
“The suspect arrived at the party, obtained a large knife and targeted the victims one by one, stabbing them,” Hanson said.
The victims were four males and one female.... Source.
De Grood's father, Inspector Doug de Grood, is a Calgary policeman with 33 years of experience.

The name de Grood originally was written as de Groot, which is composed of the adjective groot, from middle Dutch grote, meaning big or great, preceded by the definite article de, meaning the. It was originally a nickname for a tall person.

Meanwhile, today, the anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings, had a moment of bizarreness in Boston.

Boylston Street was evacuated Tuesday night after two bags were left at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Both bags were detonated by the Bomb Squad.
At least one of the bags was being carried by a barefoot man who was wearing a long black veil and screaming “Boston Strong.” That man has been identified as Kayvon Edson.
A source tells WBZ-TV that when the Edson was stopped by police, he told them he had a rice cooker in his bag. That is when the Bomb Squad was called to the scene...[T]he rice cooker in the bag was full of confetti. More, see source.
Elsewhere, it should be noted that yesterday was the anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic. And this news is hitting the wires, a South Korean ship with about 450 passengers is sinking off the country's southwestern coast.

Quebec's Alleged Shooter Named Bain

You can't make this up: The shooting suspect has been identified as Richard Henry Bain. Yes, Bain, like in Bain Capital, the company founded by Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Bain, which sounds exactly like Bane, was discussed in depth before the appearance of the villain Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, which was shown at the July 20th midnight showing in the Aurora theater where the shooting occurred.

For my deeper dissection of Bane/Bain, please click here.

Richard Henry Bain now pops up as the suspect in this strange shooting in Quebec.

Was there an attempt on the life of the newly elected future premier, Pauline Marois of Quebec, on Tuesday, September 4, 2012?

Voting had just returned the Parti Québécois to power Tuesday. A rally celebrating the Marois (Marios = "dweller at or near a marsh") victory in the historic Quebec election ended in tragedy.  Several shoots erupted from a rifle held by a masked gunman, which resulted in one person killed and another wounded. The gunfire began after an apparent diversion fire was set at the back of the crowded Montreal concert hall, where PQ Leader Pauline Marois was celebrating her minority mandate.

The name of the location of the shooting, The Metropolis, reminded me of 1927 German expressionist science-fiction film by the same name, directed by Fritz Lang.

One shooting victim, a 45-year-old man, later died, while another person wounded in the shooting was out of danger. A third person was in hospital, recovering from shock.

The balaclava is also called a a Templar cap.

A large 62-year-old man (shown at top) wearing a black balaclava, black shirt, glasses, shorts, and what was described as a blue bathrobe or housecoat was arrested. The suspect reportedly spoke French with an accent. His two firearms were seized. (On Tuesday, he was named as Richard Henry Bain.)

This shooting was taken seriously by the security units protecting Parti Québécois Leader Pauline Marois.

It was clearly a political shooting. "The English are waking up, the English are waking up ... It's payback ... Yeah, yeah, that's enough," the man muttered as police officers led him away in handcuffs. Local media reported that he also shouted: "It's gonna be fucking payback!"

After defeating the Liberals, Marois, 63, who had been severely criticized for campaigning on identity and language themes, had some conciliatory words for Quebec's anglophone and native communities, speaking of their shared history. In a rare move for her, Marois spoke in English to say their rights would be respected.

Nevertheless, she struck a tougher stance towards the rest of Canada, hinting of the future struggle for separation on the horizon.

"As a nation, we want to take ourselves the decisions that affect us. We want a country. And we'll have it."

Marois, however, has said she will only hold a third referendum on independence if a win is assured, which is unlikely, given that barely one in three Quebecers currently support secession.

The party's victory came after allegations of corruption and months of nightly student protests over a planned tuition hike, with polls showing widespread dissatisfaction with nine years of Liberal rule.

The masked Quebec shooting occurred near an anniversary involving other men wearing masks.

At 4:30 a.m., on September 5, 1972, a dozen masked, armed Palestinians of the group calling itself Black September, with the assistance of German neo-Nazis, stormed the Olympic Village, taking Israeli athletes and coaches hostage. The end of the situation on September 6th resulted in the deaths of 6 Israeli coaches, 5 Israeli athletes, 5 members of Black September, and one West German police officer. Photo: Kurt Strumpf
