A New Paradigm: Awash in Shootings

One of those "experts" on CNN on Thursday, September 20, 2018, talking about the latest shooting, this one in Maryland, said that we are dealing with a "new paradigm."

This paradigm, of course, is that we are use to mass shootings on almost a daily basis. Needless to say, you heard about this paradigm shift beginning long ago, in books like The Copycat Effect (Simon and Schuster, 2004).

Middletown, Wisconsin

The remarkable coincidence is that on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, a shooting that took place was at a software office in Middleton, Wisconsin named "WTS Paradigm." Four employees were shoot and the gunman, an employee, was killed.

Masontown, Pennsylvania

Elsewhere, four people including a police officer were shot after a man opened fire Wednesday, September 19, 2018, in the lobby of municipal building near a judge's office in Masontown, Pennsylvania. The suspected gunman was also shot and killed by an officer at the scene. The suspect had a protection of abuse order against him in regards to a domestic violence case.

The suspected gunman walked into the lobby and opened fire, blowing out the entrance to the courtroom. He then walked into the courtroom, which had 60 people in it.

Bellingham, Pennsylvania

The next mass shooting began on September 19, 2018, and ended during the early morning of September 20, 2018.

Bruce Rogal, 59, of Glenmore in Chester County, Pennsylvania, was upset that his ex-wife had been awarded their home in their divorce on September 19th. Rogal first went to the house the two shared in West Bradford Township at 5:45 p.m. and shot at his ex-wife six times as she changed the oil in a car in her driveway. The ex-wife ran down the block, dodging at least five bullets.

Rogal then drove to his parents' Bellingham Senior Living Center on East Boot Road, in nearby East Goshen Township at 6:15 p.m. and shot them dead, police said. William and Nancy Rogal were both in their late 80s.

State police began to pursue Rogal around 1 a.m. Thursday after he drove along Strasburg Road, near the Pennsylvania State Police barracks. The police pursued him for about 3-1/2 miles into the neighborhood where Rogal's ex-wife lives.

Rogal crashed into his ex's home, then exchanged gunfire with the troopers. It was unclear if Rogal shot himself or was shot by police. First aid was rendered on the scene but Rogal was dead. No troopers were hurt.

Aberdeen, Maryland

On September 20, 2018, three people at a Rite Aid distribution center were killed by a female suspect in Aberdeen, Harford, Maryland, United States. The shooting occurred 30 miles northeast of Baltimore.

Deputies responded to reports of shots fired at 9:09 am EDT. Officers reportedly never discharged their weapons while responding to the scene. Agents from the Baltimore offices of Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the FBI responded to the scene. The suspected shooter was admitted to the hospital, and officials did not immediately identify the suspect.

These incidents set up some intriguing syncs and links.

Zapped by Aberdeen's gases

The American musician, composer, activist and filmmaker Frank Vincent Zappa (December 21, 1940 – December 4, 1993) is directly associated with Aberdeen, Maryland.

His family moved often because his father, a chemist and mathematician, worked in the defense industry. After a time in Florida in the 1940s, the family returned to Maryland, where Zappa's father worked at the Edgewood Arsenal chemical warfare facility of the Aberdeen Proving Ground. Due to their home's proximity to the arsenal, which stored mustard gas, gas masks were kept in the home in case of an accident. This had a profound effect on Zappa, and references to germs, germ warfare and the defense industry occur throughout his work.
Zappa was often sick as a child, suffering from asthma, earaches and sinus problems. A doctor treated his sinusitis by inserting a pellet of radium into each of Zappa's nostrils. At the time, little was known about the potential dangers of even small amounts of therapeutic radiation, and although it has since been claimed that nasal radium treatment has causal connections to cancer, no studies have provided significant enough evidence to confirm this.
Nasal imagery and references appear in his music and lyrics, as well as in the collage album covers created by his long-time collaborator Cal Schenkel. Zappa believed his childhood diseases might have been due to exposure to mustard gas, released by the nearby chemical warfare facility. Source.

Capital Gazette Shooting: 888 and Updates

The newspaper said there was no way they weren't going to publish a paper the day of the shooting. And they did it.

+++

I posted the following graphic on Twitter early on the morning of June 28, 2018.

From a slide show presented by Stephen Miles Lewis, Anomaly Archives, 2011.

Then, in the afternoon came this breaking news....a rather commonplace occurrence nowadays, unfortunately.

At least five people were killed and three injured in an "active shooting incident" at the Capital Gazette building in Annapolis. One suspect (white, 20s, with a ponytail, drab green teeshirt, and black pants, no ID) is in custody. (More on his identity below.) He reportedly used a shotgun.

Annapolis, Anne Arundel County and state police, along with officers from neighboring jurisdictions are at the scene in the 800 block of Bestgate Road, near the Annapolis Mall. The incident was reported at 888 Bestgate Road.

Four of those wounded suffered critical injuries. Two state police helicopters have been called the scene, and a triage has been set up, SkyTeam 11 Capt. Roy Taylor reports.

Suspicious packages were reported. SWAT officers will conduct a room-by-room search.

The Capital Gazette is owned by The Baltimore Sun. That paper reports police were at their building, as well.

The Capital is a daily newspaper published in Annapolis, Maryland since 1884. Its sister newspaper, The Gazette, is one of the oldest newspapers in America, its origins dating back to the early 18th century. The Capital serves the city of Annapolis, much of Anne Arundel County, and neighboring Kent Island in Queen Anne's County. An evening newspaper for most of its existence, it moved to mornings beginning on March 9, 2015.[1]

The Capital, the Maryland Gazette and their sister publications have been composed and printed for more than 270 years in numerous locations in and near Annapolis.

The company has moved headquarters seven times, including from 3 Church Circle to 213 West St. in 1948, to 2000 Capital Drive in 1987, to Gibralter Road after that, and to 888 Bestgate Road in 2014.

888

In a new posting, "Opening the Beast Gate," on the Super Torch Ritual, Goro Adachi points to this incident being a "clear 'signal events' – events encoded with patterns that give us various levels of insights into what’s going on in our reality, past, present, and future. And we got something about the near future in this one."

Goro notes it is an "an in-your-face, 'look at me!' sync in the form of  '888' accompanying the event, we have something here practically begging to be decoded."

It’s not just “888”. The whole street address is highly suggestive: “888 Bestgate Road”. The surname “Best” means “beast”, hence we have here… a “Beast Gate”! A darker version of our “Stargate”.
The Biblical overtones increase with the Christian interpretation of the numerical symbolism of “888” – Jesus. From Wikipedia:

In Christian numerology, the number 888 represents Jesus, or sometimes more specifically Christ the Redeemer. This representation may be justified either through gematria, by counting the letter values of the Greek transliteration of Jesus’ name, or as an opposing value to 666, the number of the beast.
Wow. So 888 = Jesus = opposite of the number of Beast. This means…
“888 Beast Gate” = “Jesus Beast Gate” = “888 666 Gate”
Go here for the surrounding context in which Gore Adachi places this.

666

Looking at 666, it should be pointed out again, that Jared Kurshner owns the high profile building - 666 Fifth Avenue in New York City.

In December 2006, Tishman Speyer, along with the German investment firm TMW, announced the sale of the building to the Kushner Properties for $1.8 billion (about $2.2 billion real value), at the time the highest price ever paid for an individual building in Manhattan. Kushner Properties' owners are Charles Kushner and his son Jared Kushner. Jared is married to Ivanka Trump, the daughter of President Donald Trump.

Jared Corey Kushner (37; above) and Jarrod Warren Ramos (38; below).

The alleged gunman was identified as Jarrod Warren Ramos.

Goro further adds here, "the name of the Capital Gazette shooter has been identified as 'Jarrod Ramos'. 'Jarrod' means 'rose,' and 'Ramos' means 'branches'. Together meaning 'Rose Branches.'"

Couple other name game points: Jarrod Ramos' middle name is Warren. The American, Germanic and Teutonic meanings of Warren are basically the same, "protector," "loyal," with the English variant, "gamekeeper defender (protector)."

Traditionally, in the USA, the name covertly links back to,
Dr. Joseph Warren (June 11, 1741 – June 17, 1775) was an American physician who played a leading role in American Patriot organizations in Boston in the early days of the American Revolution, eventually serving as President of the revolutionary Massachusetts Provincial Congress. Warren enlisted Paul Revere and William Dawes on April 18, 1775, to leave Boston and spread the alarm that the British garrison in Boston was setting out to raid the town of Concord and arrest rebel leaders John Hancock and Samuel Adams. Warren participated in the next day's Battles of Lexington and Concord, which are commonly considered to be the opening engagements of the American Revolutionary War.
Warren had been commissioned a Major General in the colony's militia shortly before the June 17, 1775 Battle of Bunker Hill. Rather than exercising his rank, Warren served in the battle as a private soldier, and was killed in combat when British troops stormed the redoubt atop Breed's Hill. His death, immortalized in John Trumbull's painting, The Death of General Warren at the Battle of Bunker's Hill, June 17, 1775, galvanized the rebel forces. He has been memorialized in the naming of many towns, counties and other locations in the United States, by statues, and in numerous other ways (emphasis added). Source.

Jarrod Warren Ramos, the alleged shooter in Annapolis, used the Berserk Brand of Sacrifice (生贄の焼印, Ikenie no Yakīn?) to mark those he was out to involve in a sacrificial ceremony via his Twitter account.

Rob Hiaasen, a managing editor and columnist at The Capital newspaper in Annapolis, Maryland, was one of the five victims killed in the mass shooting at the newspaper's office on June 28, 2018. Rob Hiaasen wrote one book in 2006, Over My Dead Body.  Rob is the brother of Carl Hiaasen (born March 12, 1953), an American writer. A long-time columnist for the Miami Herald, Carl Hiaasen has also written more than 20 novels which can generally be classified as humorous crime fiction and often feature themes of environmentalism and political corruption in his native Florida.

The other four killed were:
Gerald Fischman, a columnist and the editorial page editor of The Capital,
Rebecca Smith, sales assistant,
John McNamara, editor and sports reporter, and
Wendi Winters, community beat reporter.

The Name Is Austin: Beware Texas and Maryland

On March 20, 2018, news concentrated on two fronts tied to the name Austin in Texas and Maryland.

The name Austin is an English name. Austin was developed in the Middle Ages from the Latin Augustine, meaning magic dignity, or venerable

Austin Bombings Continue: FedEx Certainly, Goodwill Maybe

From March 2 through March 18, 2018, four package explosions have occurred in Austin, Texas, resulting in two deaths. (See details here.)

The earlier deaths of two men named House (March 2) and Mason (March 12) were from families who knew each other, and involved in community organizing.

The location of the Dawn Song Drive explosion was near the home of a Latina activist.

From the New York Times: "Eliza May said she was watching a TV show in her home when she heard what sounded like a transformer blowing up in her backyard. 'It sounded like when the transformers go out, but it was five times magnified that,' said Ms. May, who lives about 200 feet from where the explosion was said to have occurred."

Bomb #5

On March 20, during the hour after midnight, a package exploded on a conveyor belt at a FedEx shipping center at Schertz, near San Antonio, Texas. One employee was injured.

Bomb #6

Hours after the San Antonio blast, police sent a bomb squad to a FedEx facility outside Austin's main airport to check on a suspicious package that was reported shortly before sunrise. Authorities roped off a large area around the shopping center in the enclave of Sunset Valley.

The ATF Houston tweeted that the "two packages located at two separate FedEx facilities in Austin/San Antonio are on 3/20/2018 are connected to the four previous package explosions that occurred between 3/2 and 3/18 in Austin, TX."

Device #7

Around 7:00 pm, an incendiary device exploded, injuring one male, at a Goodwill Store in south Austin, on Brodie Lane, near Slaughter.

The police appear to be downplaying this incident, and some authorities are saying it was unrelated to the previous bombings.

School Shooting

A gunman who opened fire on students at Great Mills High School in Maryland was killed on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, after engaging an armed school resource officer.

The shooter, Austin Wyatt Rollins, 17, was the only fatality. Police said Rollins used a handgun to shoot a 16-year-old female student, who was identified by family members as Jaelynn Willey. She remains in the ICU with life-threatening, critical injuries. A 14-year-old male was also shot by Rollins or the school resource officer, and is in stable condition.

The school's resource officer, Deputy Blaine Gaskill, was alerted of the shooting, immediately responded, and killed Austin Wyatt Rollins.

Great Mills High School is a comprehensive public high school of 1600+ students in grades 9-12. Great Mills High School was founded in 1929, as one of the original high schools in St. Mary's County, Maryland. It serves students at the confluence of the Potomac River, Patuxent River, and Chesapeake Bay. The ethnic population of the school reflects the community: 51% Caucasian, 40% African American, 5% Asian, 4% Hispanic, 1% other. At Great Mills High School, student athletes are known as the Hornets.

Jewish Threats

Bomb threats forced evacuations at Jewish schools and community centers in 11 states Monday, February 27, 2017, with the Jewish Community Center Association confirming threats in states ranging from Florida to Michigan. In Ann Arbor, Mich., police gave the all-clear after a Hebrew day school was threatened, forcing students to leave.

Some of the February 27, 2017, threats

"Today, bomb threats were called into schools and/or JCCs in Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia," the JCC Association of North America says. "Many affected institutions have already been declared clear and have returned to regular operations. All previous bomb threats to JCCs this year were determined to be hoaxes."

In Ann Arbor, police are working with the FBI after receiving an "unusually specific" threat about a bomb in a backpack, Michigan Radio's Kate Wells reports. After detection dogs were brought in, police allowed students to return to school — but Wells calls the scene "surreal," with news crews and police still hovering around the school.

"My instincts tell me this is all part of a coordinated effort," an Ann Arbor police detective tells Wells, saying that there have been at least two bomb threats against the Ann Arbor Jewish Community Center.

The ADL confirms threats were made Monday against a Jewish day school in Miami, a JCC in Asheville, N.C., and the upper school of Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Rockville, Md. It also says there are unconfirmed reports of a threat in Birmingham, Ala.

Vandals knocked over headstones the weekend of February 18-19, 2017, in the Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, University City, a suburb of St Louis, Missouri.

Vandals attack tombstones at the Jewish Mount Carmel Cemetery
on February 26, 2017, in Philadelphia.

The threats come after a weekend in which vandals damaged approximately 100 headstones at a Jewish cemetery in Philadelphia — an act that came less than a week after a similar attack on a Jewish cemetery near St. Louis, where more than 150 graves were targeted.

Since the start of 2017, dozens of bomb threats have been made against Jewish community centers; this is at least the fifth wave of threats in the past two months.

President Trump, who had been criticized for not vigorously responding to earlier threats against Jewish community centers, took on the issue more directly last Tuesday, saying the threats "are horrible and are painful, and a very sad reminder of the work that still must be done to root out hate and prejudice and evil."

As news of Monday's wave of threats spread, David Posner, director of strategic performance at the JCC Association of North America, issued a statement that reads, in part:

"Anti-Semitism of this nature should not and must not be allowed to endure in our communities. The Justice Department, Homeland Security, the FBI, and the White House, alongside Congress and local officials, must speak out — and speak out forcefully — against this scourge of anti-Semitism impacting communities across the country."

NSA Gate Rammed, One Man Killed

Police are investigating a crash and reports of a shooting Monday, March 30, 2015, morning at Fort Meade, Maryland.

A spokeswoman at Fort Meade says two people were injured, one killed, as they attempted to ram a gate to the National Security Agency.

The two men were dressed as women. They were said to have attempted to "penetrate" (it was is in quotes in the description of them attempting to breach) the gate.

Aerial video showed multiple vehicles involved in a crash on the connector road from Route 295 to Fort Meade. Also shown was an emergency responder being loaded into an ambulance.

Earlier in March 2015, a Beltsville man was arrested in a string of shootings at public buildings around suburban Maryland, including one shooting at an NSA building just east of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. A former prison guard was arrested and named a suspect in the shootings and has told investigators that he was “hearing voices” that told him to fire the shots.

On September 19, 2014, a man with a knife was able to jump a fence, get past the U.S. Secret Service and enter an unlocked door of the White House before he was caught. That incident and others prompted a review of security procedures as well as staff changes at the top of the agency. This individual was one of three who attempted to reach the White House, with the two other intrusions happening on September 11 and October 22, 2014.

In October 2013, a woman, Miriam Carey, with her 1-year-old daughter in her car rammed a gate outside the White House, then sped to the U.S. Capitol, where police twice opened fire on her car. She was killed after getting past a security barrier on the Capitol grounds. Her family has said she suffered from mental issues and panicked when she saw police with guns and had not meant to breach the security barriers.

Fort George G. Meade is a United States Army installation that includes the Defense Information School, the Defense Media Activity, the United States Army Field Band, and the headquarters of United States Cyber Command, the National Security Agency, the Defense Courier Service, and Defense Information Systems Agency headquarters. It is named for George G. Meade, a general from the U.S. Civil War, who served as commander of the Army of the Potomac. The fort's smaller census-designated place includes support facilities such as schools, housing, and the offices of the Military Intelligence Civilian Excepted Career Program (MICECP).

George Gordon Meade (December 31, 1815 – November 6, 1872) was a career United States Army officer and civil engineer involved in the coastal construction of several lighthouses. He fought with distinction in the Second Seminole War and the Mexican-American War. During the American Civil War he served as a Union general, rising from command of a brigade to the Army of the Potomac. He is best known for defeating Confederate General Robert E. Lee at the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863.

This date is the anniversary on March 30, 1981, when U.S. President Ronald Reagan was shot in the chest outside the Washington, D.C., Hilton Hotel by John Hinckley, Jr. Hinckley stood near the umbrella being held by a camera crew filming the president.

Reagan's press secretary James Brady, Washington police officer Thomas Delahanty, and Secret Service agent Timothy McCarthy were struck by gunfire from the would-be assassin.

George W. Ashburn (born 1814) was a Georgia politician assassinated on March 30, 1868, by the Ku Klux Klan in Columbus, Georgia for his pro-African-American sentiments. He was the first murder victim of the Klan in Georgia.

On the night of March 30, 1868, Ashburn participated at a huge gathering of blacks and Republicans at Temperance Hall in Columbus, Georgia. One of the featured speakers was Henry McNeal Turner. Just after midnight, Ashburn was murdered at a house on the corner of 13th and 1st street by a group of five well-dressed men wearing masks.

During the time of Ashburn’s murder Georgia was still under the military governorship of General George Meade (the victor of Gettysburg), of the Third Military District. As soon as he heard of the murder, Meade implemented martial law in Columbus, removing the mayor from office, and ordering the immediate arrest of all suspects.
