More Tridents: Poseidon Vineyard, DragonCon and Norfolk

Are tridents leading us to another foreshadowing?

On August 20, 2014, I predicted an event would occur tied to all the appearances of tridents of late.

Entitled, "Trident Alert: Watch August 24," a date was identified and the link to tridents was made. 

Poseidon, whose weapon of choice, is the trident, is the "God of the Sea," but also the "Earth-Shaker," the one who causes earthquakes.

August 24th dawned with earthquake news. Poseidon had thrust his Trident on August 24, after all.

BREAKING NEWS: Northern California has been rocked by a 6 earthquake!!!

Today's posting is to capture what the San Francisco Chronicle has written on this quake's epicenter (before these words disappear from their news site). It also feels if someone was reading my blog.

In Peter Fimrite's "Boats, grapes and Poseidon at Napa quake's epicenter," on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, in the San Francisco Chronicle, the paper shared, in part:

…The epicenter of what is being dubbed "the South Napa earthquake" was smack dab beneath the Napa Valley Marina, a somewhat nondescript boatyard, dry dock and launching spot surrounded by vineyards and farmland with a view of San Pablo Bay about a half-mile away over the wetlands.
…
The epicenter was found using coordinates provided by the U.S. Geological Survey. Geologists say it is common for the majority of damage to occur at least a concentric mile away from the rupture, which occurred Sunday when two tectonic plates - the North American and Pacific - moved horizontally past each other, causing the Earth's crust to crack where the pressure was the greatest.
Science aside, there is at least circumstantial evidence that the epicenter may have been chosen by a wrathful god, vineyard owner Arpad Molnar said. Molnar, the co-founder of Tricycle Wine Partners, owns Poseidon Vineyard, which was planted next to the marina by his father in 1973.
Molnar, who is also a sailor, questioned whether it was just coincidence that an earthquake would erupt beneath a vineyard named after the Greek god of the sea and often referred to as "the earth-shaker" because of the deity's role in causing quakes.
"The placement of the epicenter, which is literally right underneath the vineyard, is really, really uncanny," he said of the property, which, unlike the marina, sustained several 10- to 15-foot-long cracks.
Molnar, who once bottled a wine called "Shipwreck," said it would be nice if the earthquake actually improved the wine, but far be it for him to suggest such a thing.
"We don't want to make too much of it," he said, in deference to the many people who suffered from the quake. "But I think we'll probably end up doing a little special bottling for the 2014 vintage to commemorate it. ... We thought maybe we'd do a little epicenter wine."

My own sightings of tridents continue.

The above is the first thing I saw on my August 28th Delta flight to Atlanta. Even a fork can be a trident.

 In Atlanta, speaking at DragonCon 2014, I kept bumping into people with Tridents.

Various events made me look more closely at my own history. Where did this all start for me? Where was I born?

I examined the site of my birth, Norfolk, Virginia, to see how long ago this began, personally, for me. I wondered at "why" I would be noticing that fact now. Norfolk is where my father was stationed at the time, of course, in the U.S. Navy. While a few U.S. Naval Stations do employ tridents in their logos and insignias, it certainly is not true that they all do. See here. But Norfolk does, routinely.

Poseidon's Vineyard: August 24 Trident Prediction On Target

A 6.1 magnitude earthquake rocked wine country north of San Francisco early on Sunday, August 24, 2014, fulfilling a prediction I made tied to this date. Actually, Poseidon's tridents got my attention for there have been 3 quakes in 24 hrs: Chile, 6.4; California, 6.1; Peru, 6.9, all along the western coast of the Americas. (Please see more on the prediction, at "Trident Alert: Watch August 24," which was posted on August 20th.)

Let's look at the name game uniqueness of the California shaking.

The morning earthquake injured dozens of people, two of them seriously, damaging historic buildings, setting some homes on fire and causing power outages around the picturesque town of Napa, first thought to be centered below a town named American Canyon. One hospital reported 70 people showed up with earthquake-related injuries. Overall, 170 people were said to be injured, with no deaths reported (source).

The biggest quake in the region in 25 years jolted many residents out of bed when it hit at 3:20 a.m. local time (1020 GMT), in the Napa Valley of California.

Enki King emailed me: "I just took a look at Google Maps. Poseidon's Vineyard is a little less than a mile north of the quake's epicenter (38°12'50.4"N 122°19'08.4"W)!"

Poseidon, whose weapon of choice, is the trident, is the "God of the Sea," but also the "Earth-Shaker," the one who causes earthquakes. He is also called the "tamer of horses."

Furthermore, under eight miles away, is the Silver Trident Vineyard. The Silver trident is at 110 Camino, Oruga Napa, CA 94558, and Posiedon's Vineyard or Posiedon Vineyard (it is given as both) is at 1100 Milton Rd, Napa, CA 94559.

The epicenter of the Chilean earthquake is Hacienda La Calera, 108 kilometers (67 miles) NW of Santiago, Chile. La Calera is a city with a population of about 50,000 people, in the Quillota Province of central Chile's fifth region of Valparaíso. La Calera's name comes from the production of quicklime (Spanish "cal") that is obtained from the processed limestone (Spanish: piedra caliza) (calcium carbonate), extracted from the hills at the south of the town, which were already exploited by the Chilean and Peruvian Natives for some 400 years previously. Therefore, La Calera means "quicklime mine". The estate of La Calera belonged to the Jesuits up to 1767. The turning point came in 1842, when it was acquired by Bolivian citizen Ildefonso Huici, who started industrialising it with local products.
Today, among the important immigrant communities who settled in La Calera before 1950, Palestinians stand out, which makes this town with the largest proportion of Palestine people in Latin America.

Tambo, Peru is a sparsely populated community in central Peru, about 467 kilometers (290 miles) SE of the capital of Lima. The word tambo (Quechua: tampu, "inn") refers to an Incan structure built for administrative and military purposes. Found along Incan roads, tambos typically carried supplies, served as lodging for itinerant state personnel, and were depositories of quipu-based accounting records. Meanwhile, Suge Knight, a founder of Death Row Records, was shot on August 24. In this entertainment assassination attempt, Knight and two others were reportedly the victims of shots said to be aimed at Chris Brown and possibly Justin Bieber.

Gunshots rang out at a pre-Video Music Awards party hosted by Chris Brown and singer Pia Mia in West Hollywood in the early morning hours on Sunday [August 24, 2014].
Shortly after 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning, a shooting occurred at 1OAK nightclub in the 9000 block of Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood where two men and a woman were wounded, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department said in a statement provided to the Daily News.
The suspect remains unknown, but the victims include a 49-year-old male, widely reported as music producer Marion (Suge) Knight, as well as two unnamed victims, a 32-year-old male and a 19-year-old female. All the victims were transported to local hospitals and are expected to recover.

Sunday, August 24, 2014, is worthy of your attention. As you know, if you are a frequent reader here, tridents have been in the news of late, associated with deaths, disasters, and destructive dramas. The weekend date overlaps with a prominent trident event. (Update: Please see "Synchromystic Symposium: The Meaning of Tridents" to read what over 20 theorists think about the symbolism of these trident "coincidences.")

August 24th links directly to a frequently noted trident, for that date is Independence Day or Den' Nezalezhnosti, celebrating the independence of Ukraine from the Soviet Union in 1991.

The state coat of arms of Ukraine (Ukrainian: Державний Герб України) or commonly the Tryzub (Ukrainian: Тризуб, “trident”) is the national coat of arms of Ukraine, featuring the same colors found on the Ukrainian flag; a blue shield with a gold trident. It represents the triune God on earth and in heaven. Source.

The first known archeological and historical evidence of this symbol can be found on the seals of the Rurik dynasty. It was stamped on the gold and silver coins issued by Prince Volodymer the Great (980–1015). Source.

Will August 24, 2014, bring forth new significant deaths, a volcanic eruption, towns invaded & occupied, cities burned, assassinations, suicides, and terrorist attacks? Will tridents be in the mix, in some fashion, symbolically or literally? Red dawns and Auroras? Only time will tell. In the meantime, be safe.

Afterword: August 21, 2014

August 24th is also the Christian Feast Day, in the Roman Catholic and Anglican churches, for Bartholomew. Bartholomew is the Son of Ptolemy, and Ptolemy means "Son of War." Also, Todd Campbell pointed out to me today that Goro, in his "Horus of the Horizon," is pointing an event horizon on August 24th, as well.

Finally, for those assuming that my focus is all negative, let me share a bit of background. Carl Jung was interested in the use and interplay of synchronicity in its application of probabilistic predictions, and those that most often appealed to him in support of his concept of acausality. If we can predict disasters, especially ones produced by humans, and prevent them, then Jung's thoughts can be reframed as he saw them, positively. Predicting what are seen as "negative" events may be an easy target for overt criticism, but these media-driven, recognizable moments are exactly the kinds of predictions that I consider to be possible. Prevention work is often misunderstood.

The instrument of destruction mostly under study, and the behaviors predicted, are of and from the humans, not the stars. It is Homo sapiens who are the ones responding to the anniversaries, remembrances, and independence days on their human internal clocks, tied to their current calendar.

Wars, invasions, cities in turmoil, suicides, murders, crashes, and more, ah, rest with the human factor, not an astronomical one. The so-called "anniversary syndrome" is strong in these primates, my fellows. This is based on an annual accounting in a contemporary landscape, dear friends. So it is and so it shall be.

Now if that volcano in Iceland goes off over the weekend, we'll just have to write that off to one of Carl Jung's "coincidences," correct?

U. S. Marines Shot in Mexico

U.S. Marines were injured in a shooting south of Mexico City on Friday morning, August 24, 2012, a Marine official told CNN Mexico. With the news of the shooting at the Empire State Building on this same morning, the U.S. media is not following this story closely.

Red Pill Junkie, our Mexican correspondent, points out that this location, "near Huitzilac, seems to be the same place where a Mexican general was murdered in 1927 on October 3rd (which is RPJ's birthday). The name of the general was Francisco R. Serrano. He wanted to run for president, but formerly the Revolutionary warlords dealt with their enemies in a traditional and customary fashion."

A book La Sombra del Caudillo by Martín Luis Guzmán is based on the incident, as well as an old movie too.

The motive behind the attack on the American servicemen, who were on a diplomatic mission, was not immediately known.

Unknown gunmen inside what was described as a Mexican federal police vehicle fired upon a U.S. Embassy vehicle that carried the U.S. servicemen, said the official, who declined to be named for security reasons.

The injured Marines were transported to a hospital in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

The story is changing. The AP out of Mexico is spreading the following, after 5 PM Friday:

The Mexican Navy says federal police shot at a vehicle carrying two U.S. government employees after the vehicle came under attack from unidentified gunmen.
The shooting appears to have been a case of a confused gunbattle that broke out on a rural road just south of Mexico City.
The Navy said Friday the embassy personnel were heading down a dirt road to a military installation when a carload of gunmen opened fire on them and chased them, along with a Navy officer accompanying them.
Alerted to the gunfire, a federal police patrol vehicle came to the scene and apparently opened fire. The statement does not make clear whose bullets injured the U.S. workers.

Violence of this kind has occurred before, recently. Gunmen killed three federal police officers on June 24, 2012 outside the arrivals area of Mexico City's international airport. Witnesses told Mexican media that the killers also were dressed in federal police uniforms and ran from the airport’s Terminal 2 following the shootings. After the shooting, the entire security staff at the airport was replaced.

In 2011, one U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent was killed and one wounded in a drug gang shooting in northern Mexico.

A drug-gang shooting In 2010 in the border city of Ciudad Juarez killed a U.S. consulate employee, her husband and another man.

Recent attacks against U.S. military in Afghanistan have involved shootings by individuals dressed or disguised as law enforcement officers for Afghanistan, supposedly allies.

A NATO soldier was killed on Sunday, August 19, 2012, by an Afghan police officer, raised the coalition death toll from so-called "green on blue" or "insider" shootings during the last 11 days, as the United States urged Kabul to step up screening of recruits.

The BBC News noted:

On Sunday [August 19, 2012]...an Afghan in a police uniform shot dead a Nato soldier.
The victim was the 10th US soldier to die in such an attack in two weeks.'
Two American soldiers were killed in another incident on Friday, a week after six were killed in a single day on 10 August.
Currently, approximately 130,000 ("blue") Nato troops are fighting insurgents in Afghanistan alongside 350,000 ("green") Afghans.
Sunday's shooting brought the total number of International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) personnel killed by members of the Afghan security forces this year to 40, with most of the victims Americans.
There were 35 such deaths in all of 2011.

Empire State Building Shooting

The FBI and the ATF are at the iconic Empire State Building, investigating a shooting. Four to six people have been shot, with ten in total injured, with two people dead, including the gunman who was killed by the NYPD.  A witness says the gunman was firing indiscriminately. Most of the activity appears to be on 33rd Street.

New York City officials say at least four people have been shot outside the Empire State Building and that the gunman is dead.

City police say at least four people have been wounded in the Friday morning shooting. Some of the victims were reportedly found inside the lobby of the Empire State Building while some were found on the street.

A fire department spokesman says it received a call about the shooting just after at 9 a.m. Friday and that emergency units were on the scene within minutes.

Aliyah Imam tells Fox 5 News that she was standing at a red light when a woman standing next to her fell to the ground. She says the woman was hit in the hip. She says the gunman was "shooting indiscriminately at people."

The shooting reportedly occurred at 33rd Street and Fifth Avenue, and it is 33rd Street that is blocked off.  Hazan Imports, outside of where this occurred, is located at 10 W 33rd St, New York, NY 10001. Their website is a deadlink, http://www.hazanimport.com.

Gawker published a series of photos (the mildest one above is shown) allegedly of the shooter, in a gray suit, dead, being examined by police.

Latest reports by NYC Police is that this is "not domestic terrorism," but allegedly the gunman was fired from his job yesterday. The date of this person leaving his job was given incorrectly in the early reports. He was laid off a year ago from Hazan Imports*.

Ralph Hazan is in charge of Hazan Imports. A "John Hazan" works at Bain & Company, Inc.

At the news conference this am, it was revealed the victim was a coworker, 41, shot by Jeffrey Johnson, first reported to be 53. Johnson was killed in a shootout with law enforcement officers. Nine other people (seven men, two women) were injured in crossfire.

The New York Times metro desk tweeted that Johnson was 58, not 53, and lives on East 82nd Street in Manhattan. He apparently lost his job a year ago when the company downsized.

The New York Post reported that Johnson stalked his former boss down the street and shot him.

Jeffrey Johnson, his neighbors said, went to McDonald's every day wearing the same suit he apparently wore during the shooting.

Johnson was an artist, who posted his art at several sites on the Internet.

Images of the victim are showing up more quickly than Johnson's photo.

A relative identified the victim as Steve Ercolino (pictured), who was the vice president of sales at Hazan. (The name Ercolino means "bow leg," and is also associated with the name Miller, for one "who works in a mill.")


Mayor Michael Bloomberg is a spokesperson for the "Mayors Against Illegal Guns," heading a campaign called “Demand A Plan,” which is pushing the 2012 presidential candidates to “detail specific plans to prevent the gun violence.”

On February 24, 1997, a gunman shot seven people on the observation deck, killing one, then fatally killing himself.
