Follower of Gurdjieff, Frank Lloyd Wright's Daughter Dies

The only child of Frank Lloyd Wright and his third wife Olgivanna Lloyd Wright, Iovanna Lloyd Wright, 89, passed away on September 7, 2015, in a nursing home in San Gabriel, California. Her parents were married in 1928, and were together until Frank Lloyd Wright's death in 1959.

In 1949 Iovanna Lloyd Wright went to Paris, France, where she studied dance and philosophy with the philosopher and mystic, G. I. Gurdjieff. His dances were called "Movements" and were based on sacred dances discovered during his travels to Central Asia, Tibet and other countries in the mid-19th and early 20th centuries.

George Ivanovich Gurdjieff (January 13, 1866 – 1877? - October 29, 1949), also commonly referred to as Georges Ivanovich Gurdjieff and G. I. Gurdjieff, was an influential early 20th century choreographer, composer, writer and esotericist who taught that most humans do not possess a unified mind-body consciousness and thus live their lives in a state of hypnotic "waking sleep", but that it is possible to transcend to a higher state of consciousness and achieve full human potential. Gurdjieff described a method attempting to do so, calling the discipline "The Work" (connoting "work on oneself") or "the Method". According to his principles and instructions, Gurdjieff's method for awakening one's consciousness unites the methods of the fakir, monk or yogi, and thus referred to it as the "Fourth Way".
On Iovanna's return to the United States, she taught classes in these "Movements" to the Taliesin Fellowship, students at the school for architecture and related arts, founded in 1932 by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lloyd Wright.

She went on to create many choreographic works and wrote a number of plays, fusing the two art forms into what she termed dance-dramas.

Major productions of her dance-dramas became known as The Taliesin Festival of Music and Dance and were presented annually to the public at Taliesin West in Arizona. Her mother, Olgivanna Lloyd Wright, a former pupil of Gurdjieff, composed the music, which was played by members of the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra. Iovanna trained the performers in these productions – the architecture students, painters and sculptors, as well as the architects at Taliesin. The "Movements" were also presented in Chicago, San Francisco and Dallas. A production of her own choreography was presented at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco in the early 1970's.

"She began writing poetry and some fiction in her earlier years, which continued through the last several years of her life," wrote Eve Lloyd Wright. "We who love Iovanna will miss her very much and will honor her particular genius by way of our own work and through our own lives."

Iovanna Lloyd Wright is survived by her only child, Eve Lloyd Wright; nephew Eric Lloyd Wright; nephew Brandoch Peters, the son of William Wesley Peters, the first apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright and his son-in-law through his marriage to Svetlana Hinzenburg, Olgivanna's first child and Iovanna's half-sister with whom she spent her childhood and youth.

Wright had six other children with his first wife and adopted Iovanna's half-sister.

A private Memorial Service in honor of Iovanna Lloyd Wright is planned for December 4, 2015 at the Wayfarer's Chapel (5755 Palos Verdes Drive South, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275; 310-377-1650) .

Aurora: 30 Rock & Bridge

We are forced to pay attention to the name "Aurora," over and over again.

First, a discovery, recently made.

Last Friday, SMiles Lewis sent me this:
Synch or Not? 30 Rock / Aurora Shooting
Hi Loren,
So last night my wife and did our usual dinner in front of the tv routine watching 30 Rock. We've been watching it for the first time and last night's episode caught my wife's eye for the Copycat Effect.
We were watching Season 6, Episode 7: "The Tuxedo Begins," which first aired February 16, 2012.
At the 14 minute 45 second mark the main character, Liz Lemon, is dressed up like the Joker and proceeds to lay out her plan...
"I'm going to the movies. ... I am sick; sick like a fox. I'm going to clear out that whole theater and watch a sneak peak of The Hunger Games by myself. It'll be my greatest triumph."
My wife and I both freaked a little as we verified the air date for this episode as having preceded the Aurora Shooting.
On the other hand ... this series ran on NBC and the whole episode is a spoof of the Batman franchise (titled after the 2005 Batman Begins title) obviously done for the run-up to the 2012 release of The Dark Knight Rises
Footnote: "The Tuxedo Begins" was the 111th episode of 30 Rock.
The relationship between Batman and the Joker is referenced, with Liz's anti-social and chaotic behavior reflecting the Joker (made apparent by her crazy-old-woman eye shadow and lipstick applied in a way that parodies the villain, as well as her purple coat and green sweater vest) and Jack's character reflecting the secluded superhero dressed in a tuxedo. Harsh blue and red lighting works to give some scenes a comic book feel. The episode title, "The Tuxedo Begins," is a reference to the movie Batman Begins while the superhero name, The Tuxedo, references The Shadow, also played by Alec Baldwin. Source.

The latest name game for Aurora was also played out on September 24, 2015 - the same day Lewis and his wife was making their old 30 Rock discovery - when a Ride the Ducks vehicle in Seattle, Washington crashed into a charter bus on the Aurora Bridge.

Aurora Bridge (Credit)

The incident killed five passengers on the bus, critically injuring eight, and seriously injuring eight more.
Federal investigators said Sunday, September 27, 2015, that a Seattle duck boat that crashed into a charter bus Thursday, September 24, 2015, did not have an axle repair that had been recommended for some of the amphibious vehicles two years ago. It was also announced that a fifth international college student died from injuries suffered in the crash. Harborview Medical Center said late Sunday afternoon that a 20-year-old woman had passed away. Her name was not immediately released. She had previously been listed in critical condition.
The vehicle involved in the Seattle crash was an Army surplus craft built in 1945. It was refurbished with a General Motors engine and chassis in 2005.
Witnesses described seeing the duck boat's left front tire lock up before it veered into the bus on the Aurora Bridge, and federal investigators announced Saturday that they found the duck boat's left front axle sheared off -- though they said it wasn't clear if the axle had broken before or after the collision.
...
The five who died in the crash were among about 45 students and staff from North Seattle College who were on the bus on the six-lane bridge with no median when the tourist-carrying duck boat swerved into it.
More than 50 people were taken to hospitals. At least 13 people remained at Seattle hospitals Sunday, with four in intensive care and one in critical condition.
The amphibious vehicle tours are offered around the world, including in Philadelphia; Austin, Texas; Miami; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and London. They feature former military landing craft repurposed as tour vehicles. Source.

Duck Tours: A Short History of Accidents

The first "duck tour" company was started in 1946 by Mel Flath and Bob Unger in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Flath's company has changed ownership since, but is still in operation under the name Original Wisconsin Ducks. His family continues to operate a duck company called the Dells Army Ducks in the Wisconsin Dells Area.

Thirteen deaths: In May 1, 1999 a DUKW sank in Hot Springs, Arkansas, killing 13 of the 20 people on board.

Four deaths: On June 23, 2002, the Lady Duck, a custom-built vehicle converted from a Ford F-350 pickup truck, sank while a cruise on the Ottawa River in Ontario, Canada. Six passengers, the driver, and the tour guide escaped, but four passengers were trapped under the sunken vehicle's canopy and drowned. A review found problems with regulating such vehicles and defects in the makeshift design and the emergency procedures.

Two deaths: On July 7, 2010, a regulated and modern Ride the Ducks amphibious bus (based on the original design), was disabled by an engine fire and later run over by a barge on the Delaware River in Philadelphia. The operator of the tug pushing the barge was on his personal cell phone. Before the accident the Ride The Ducks captain made numerous calls to the tug to get the tug to change course. Those calls were heard and rebroadcast by other vessels, but there was no response from the operator of the tug. Thirty-three passengers and two crew members were quickly recovered, but two passengers, a 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl, both part of a tour group from Hungary, were killed. The NTSB determined that the probable cause of the accident was the Tugboat mate's (responsible for driving the tug at the time) inattention to his duties. The tugboat mate was sentenced to 366 days in federal prison.

Four injured: On September 5, 2010 a bearing collapsed on a DUKW belonging to The Yellow Duckmarine which resulted in four passengers, including an 80-year old person, being taken to hospital with injuries.

One injured: On October 11, 2011 a motorcyclist was critically injured after a Seattle "Ride The Ducks" vehicle hit and dragged him at a red light. Ride The Ducks has been involved in two other collisions in recent years, in December 2010 and June 2011, when different Duck drivers rear-ended passenger vehicles at Third Avenue and Pike Street and at Aurora Avenue North and Denny Way. No one was injured, but both Duck drivers told officers they didn’t see the cars because of the height of their own vehicles, according to the collision reports.

Twenty-seven injured: On March 3, 2013 a duck boat of The Yellow Duckmarine in Liverpool sank in the city's Salthouse Dock during a tour. All passengers were safely transferred to a pontoon before the vehicle began to sink. In June 2013 another duck boat, operated by the same company, sank in the Albert Dock as it came to the end of a tour of Liverpool. Passengers were forced to jump into the water as the vehicle rapidly took on water. Some were rescued by vessels while others swam to the side of the dock. Out of the 31 people on board, 27 were treated in hospital for minor injuries. The incident resulted in the Maritime and Coastguard Agency withdrawing all safety certificates for the craft owned by Pearlwild and their entering administration. Pearlwild are also under investigation by the North West Traffic Commissioner over the operation of the Duckmarines during 2012.

Unknown injured: On September 29, 2013 a duck boat on the River Thames in London caught fire. Thirty people were rescued, a number of them after having jumped into the River Thames to escape the fire.

Five deaths, 16 injured: A Ride the Ducks vehicle in Seattle, Washington crashed into a charter bus on the Aurora Bridge. All the deaths were on the bus.

Twin Peaks' Log Lady Dies

Actress Catherine Coulson, best known for playing the Log Lady (the character was named "Margaret Lanterman") on David Lynch's Twin Peaks, died of cancer, on Monday, September 28, 2015, in Ashland, Oregon, where she was born on October 22, 1943. She was 71.

Coulson was once interviewed about her Log Lady role, and described her Margaret Lanterman character as the “only normal person on the show,” but qualified that she’s “had some trauma and bonded with this Ponderosa pine,” according to Variety.

It has been reported that Catherine Coulson has already been shot for several episodes of the new series of Twin Peaks.
Coulson first collaborated with Lynch on a short film in 1974 [The Amputee], then again on the 1977 film Eraserhead. Over a decade later, she would work with Lynch again on Twin Peaks as the enigmatic Log Lady, a role she reprised in [the 1992 movie] Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and for the new Showtime revival of the series [now due in 2017], though there is no word as to how involved she was, as filming just started.
The noted stage actress also “reprised” her Log Lady role for the "Psych" Twin Peaks episode Dual Spires, though there she was called “Wood Woman.”
She is survived by her husband Marc Sirinsky and daughter Zoey. Source.

Coulson was David Lynch's assistant director for Eraserhead. In 1968, she married lead Eraserhead actor Jack Nance. But they divorced in 1976. Her second husband, Marc Sirinsky, is a rabbi, at one point resident at Temple Emek-Shalom in Ashland, Oregon.
Jack Nance
December 21, 1943 - December 30, 1996

Jack Nance is best known for the starring role of Henry Spence in the David Lynch film Eraserhead. For the part he was reportedly paid $25 a week. He appeared in almost every Lynch film after that, and also as Pete Martell in the television show Twin Peaks.

After Coulson, Nance later married ill-fated actress Nancee Kelly, who was Jerry Van Dyke's daughter. His second wife, Kelly Van Dyke, aka Nancee Kelly, died by suicide by hanging on November 17, 1991. According to his younger brother Richard Nance, Jack, who was in Bass Lake, California, filming Meatballs 4 at the time, attempted to console her on the phone as she threatened suicide. A lightning storm knocked out the phones in Oregon, subsequently taking over 45 minutes for Nance and the director, Bobby Logan, to find a deputy sheriff who contacted Los Angeles police and the apartment manager. They broke into the cabin and found that she had hanged herself.
Nance died in South Pasadena, California on December 30, 1996 under mysterious circumstances. Nance told friends he had been beaten by a young man outside a Winchell's Donuts store in early hours of December 29.
Later that day, he lunched with friends Leo Bulgarini and Catherine Case. Nance had a visible "crescent shaped bruise" under his eye and when asked about it, he related to them the story about the fight. He soon went home, complaining of a headache. The injuries he received caused a subdural hematoma, resulting in his death the following morning. Nance died alone in his apartment. His body was discovered on the bathroom floor by Bulgarini. An autopsy revealed that the actor's blood alcohol level was .24 percent at the time of his death. A subsequent police investigation failed to find evidence of the alleged fight. Source.

Nance actually lived and died on Fair Oaks Avenue in South Pasadena. That is also the site of the old Historic Route 66, which was changed to SR 118, which used to extend past I-210 on Foothill Boulevard through Sunland, Tujunga, La Crescenta and La Cañada, then across the Arroyo Seco into Pasadena, California, where SR 118 ran on Lincoln Avenue and Fair Oaks Avenue, ending at Colorado Blvd (Alternate US 66). The original routing across the Arroyo Seco ran along La Cañada Verdugo Road (now Oak Grove Drive), which crossed the arroyo along the crest of Devil's Gate Dam.

Route 66 and the Devil's name game applies to this history too.

Death in Mecca

The death toll from September 22's stampede during a Hajj ritual, the Stoning of the Devil, outside of Mecca, has risen to 769, Saudi Arabia's health minister announced on September 26, 2015.

Saudi officials said a total of 13,74,206 foreign pilgrims arrived for Hajj this year.

Thousands of Muslim pilgrims stone the walls, in a ritual called "Jamarat," symbolizing the stoning the devil, in Mina near the Saudi holy city of Mecca.

+++
Every year, millions of Muslims converge on Saudi Arabia's holy cities of Mecca and Medina for the Hajj pilgrimage, representing a major security and logistical challenge for the kingdom. On occasion, the Hajj and events surrounding it have been marred by tragedy. A look at some of the deadly incidents:
---
2015: Officially, 769 people are killed and more than 800 injured in a crush of pilgrims on September 22, in Mina, on the outskirts of Mecca.
2015: On September 11, 2015, a crane collapses in a storm and crashes onto the Grand Mosque in Mecca, killing 111 people are killed and injuring nearly 400.

---
2006: More than 360 pilgrims are killed in a stampede in Mina, near Mecca, where pilgrims carry out a symbolic stoning of the devil. A day before the Hajj begins, the collapse of an eight-story building used as a hostel near the Grand Mosque kills 73.
---
2004: A crush of pilgrims at Mina kills 244 people and injures hundreds on the Hajj's final day.
---
2001: A stampede at Mina on the final day of the Hajj kills 35 people.
---
1998: About 180 people are trampled to death in panic after several of them fall from an overpass during the stoning ritual at Mina.
---
1997: At least 340 pilgrims are killed in a wind-whipped fire at a tent city in Mina. More than 1,500 are injured.
---
1994: About 270 people are killed in a stampede during the Mina ritual.
---
1990: A stampede kills 1,426 people at an overcrowded pedestrian tunnel leading to the holy sites in Mecca in the worst Hajj-related tragedy.

The Black Pope and Philadelphia

How will this week end in Philadelphia for Pope Francis?

The Pope will visit Washington D.C. from September 22-24, New York City from September 24-25, and Philadelphia from September 26-27, 2015. Something feels like it is on the horizon.

This is a pope some have called the first "Black Pope," because he is the only Jesuit to be named pope. He will go down in history for meeting the USA's first black president, Barack Obama, #44. Meanwhile, at the movie theaters this same week, the film Black Mass was playing.

Pope Francis is the Black Pope. I say this not because of an incorrect interpretation of some past dubious documents. The black robed Jesuits, the military branch of the Roman Catholic Church, have attained the highest office in the Roman Catholic Church.

Pope Francis is the first Jesuit Pope, as I mentioned back in 2013. The first Jesuit Pope would naturally be the first fully "Black" (i.e. Jesuit) "Pope." It is a circular logical statement that is just common sense, and there is nothing conspiratorial about it.

In general, the use of the term "Black Pope" is often experienced as a derogatory nickname given to the Superior General, usually by the media and never utilized by the Jesuits themselves. Nevertheless, to ignore its use is to be blind to the "name game" being played.

Many authors have come forth framing the new Pope in terms of the fulfilling of the Malachy visions. (See one example, here.)

Intriguingly, Pope Francis now wears white, President Obama's mother was white, and the character depicted in Black Mass is Whitey Bulger (played by Johnny Depp).

It is a time of contrasts.

The actress Susan Sarandon thinks Pope Francis will be assassinated while he's in the USA.

“I think they’re going to assassinate him,” Sarandon told The New York Daily News on September 20, 2015. “I think he’s done some major, major cleansing of the whole [Roman Catholic] system."

These days have been predicted to be the "end times," but that hardly seems to be in the cards. And will Pope Francis be killed on these American shores? Doubtful.

But frankly, I've been feeling that a memorable and surprising event will happen in Philadelphia, not Washington, D.C. nor New York City.

The name Philadelphia is from the name of a city in Asia Minor mentioned in Revelation in the New Testament. The name of the city meant "brotherly love" from Greek φιλεω (phileo) "to love" and αδελφος (adelphos) "brother".

Regarding Pope Francis' birth name:

Jorge - "farmer" ("earth-worker"); variant of George (Greek) "farmer".

Mario – Italian, "bitter, rebellious," "bitter"; associated with the Virgin Mary by acting as a masculinized form of “Maria.” Mary means "bitter, rebellious, be disobedient." Spanish, Mario, "Hammer," "Mars" (Roman god of war).

Bergoglio - berg = "mountain" + oglio = "oil"; oglio is also seen as a "collection of miscellaneous pieces;" a "hotchpotch;" a "mixture;" a "medley;" specifically, from 1648, "of various religions."

Is Pope Francis actually a Pope from the Global South? Is he the world's first "New World Order" Pope?

Is he really an Argentine? His last name Bergoglio is Italian. His dad emigrated from Piamonte, Italy.

After a period of initial confusion (or the wrong message being sent out to the media), the name Francis used for the new Pope was said to be tied to Saint Francis of Assisi.

And in review...

Did St. Malachy indicate the future of the Papacy and the Roman Catholic Church?

Do the prophecies of Saint Malachy give us an insight? Saint Malachy was a 12th century visionary Irish monk, who during a trek to Rome, foresaw all the popes who would reign into the future, to the final one.

When his prophecies were published, 500 years after allegedly being found in the Vatican archives, they were debunked as being false. But intriguingly, the prophecies published in Benedictine historian Arnold Wion's book Lignum Vitae in 1559, has been demonstrated to be very accurate. Indeed, Malachy's list, today, from 1139, has been found to be remarkably correct.

Malachy, in verse, wrote down the future names of the Popes in epigrammatic code, which have been clearly linked to the names of the Popes chosen. Malachy's series of visions are about 112 Popes from Celestine III, who was elected Pontiff in 1130, until the last Pope who is described in his list as Peter Romanus.

The last Pope? Yes, Malachy is said to have seen the end of the Papacy with the election of what would be the next Pope after his also predicted Benedict XVI (The Glory of the Olive).

According to the Malachy prophecies, the last Pope was to be named Petrus Romanus, Peter Romanus, Peter the Roman, or Peter of Roman. "Peter" or a variation on that name is derived from the meaning, "the Rock of the Church," linking the last Pope to the first (non-Jesus Christ) leader of the Church. (Padre, of course, is another name for "father," and is related to the name Peter.)

Peter Romanus, in the prophecies, is viewed as the last Pope.

The phrase "the seven hilled city" is a direct reference to Rome. "The Seven Hills of Rome (Italian: Sette colli di Roma) east of the river Tiber form the geographical heart of Rome, within the walls of the ancient city. The original city was held by tradition to have been founded by Romulus on the Palatine Hill." Source.

The verse is seen as predicting everything from the end of the Papal structure to the end of the world. Will the celibacy of priests end under the next Pope?

The Saint Malachy verses end thusly:
In the persecution of the Holy Roman Church,
There will reign Peter the Roman,
Who will feed his flock among many tribulations
After which the seven hilled city will be destroyed
And the dreadful Judge will judge the people.

Is the Pope Francis Peter the Roman?

What will happen in Philadelphia?

Twilight name on the motorcade: As a CNN reporter pointed out, Pope Francis modestly uses a small car, not a limo or a SUV to get to where he wants to go. The vehicle he employs is a Fiat 500L.

The reporter felt it conveying a hidden message, this choice of his. She said that "Fiat" is what The Virgin Mary said to Gabriel, when she replied about whether she would be open to giving birth to the holy, the Son of God. She said "Fiat," which means, "Let it be."

Constantinos' Murder-Suicide Shocker

The news went through the celebrity paranormal community like an earthquake. Two friendly, well-known television personalities were involved in a real-life murder-suicide drama that seemed unbelievable.

These mugshots of the Constantinos were taken during the last year of their lives.

Their public persona was usually much different.

First found dead was an unknown male, killed (on Monday, September 21, or before 6 am Tuesday, September 22, 2015). The apparent suspect was Mark Constantino, 56, well-known from two paranormal investigation television programs. Gone and missing was his likewise well-known wife, Debby, 52.

The Nevada murder-suicide took place a week after a similar event, when on September 14, a love triangle murder-suicide at Delta State University in Mississippi, filled the media for a day. Earlier, on another Monday, September 7, 2015, Patrick Derr, 47, shot his enstranged girlfriend Stacy Pennington, 46, then killed himself, in front of the Jigger Shop Ice Cream Parlor, Mount Gretna, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.

The Constantinos' incident came as a surprise to their Facebook friends and television fans. But perhaps there was a hint of this which was known to their closer friends, because domestic abuse was part of the background to this unfolding story.

John Constantine: A demon just attacked me right out in the open on Figueroa.
Constantine, 2005

At about 6:30 am on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, in the 2300 block of Escalera Court in North Reno, Nevada, a woman discovered her deceased male roommate. She informed the Reno Police Department and then let them know that her other roommate, Debby Constantino, was missing. She told them she was concerned for Constantino's safety.

The police, using both Debby Constantino's and Mark Constantino's cellphones, located them at the Courtside Garden Apartments, near 15th Street and Oddie Boulevard in Sparks, Nevada.

Police arrived there, and were shot at through the door. They soon discovered Debby Constantino was inside, and being held hostage by her estranged husband Mark, 53, in their daughter's house. He shouted a warning through the door. Police suspected he had killed the male in Reno, and was the person who shot at them upon arrival.

After hours of negotiating between Mark and police from Reno and Sparks, around 1:30 p.m., Sparks' SWAT team exploded a flash device near the door, entered, and found Mark and Debby dead inside the apartment. Mark had apparently shot his wife, whom he held hostage. Then Mark killed himself.

Angela Dodson: You tried to kill yourself.
John Constantine: I didn't *try* anything.
Constantine, 2005

The name of the man killed in the Reno home was released a day after his death. He was James Anderson, 55, and he was shot in the back of his head.

Channel 2 News obtained court records that show Mark and Debby Constantino had a violent history of interactions.
In March of this year [2015] Debby Constantino was arrested at a home in north Reno. According to the records she and mark were fighting over money when she scratched him. It escalated and she allegedly sliced his arm with a kitchen knife. She was charged with domestic violence and battery with a deadly weapon. She was never able to have her day in court.
Then just six weeks ago, Mark along with their daughter Raquel, allegedly went to a home, pulled Debby out of a car by the neck and then dragged her inside. Documents accuse Raquel and Mark of beating Debby to the point of breaking her nose and causing bleeding. Records say Mark then strangled her., causing her to nearly pass out.
Raquel was charged with kidnapping, domestic battery, battery and vehicle burglary.
 Mark Constantino's mug shot.
Mark was charged with kidnapping, domestic battery by strangulation and domestic battery.
We also heard from many of you on our social media sites asking why Mark Constantino was let out of jail after being accused of kidnapping Debby. In the court documents we obtained, it shows that kidnapping is usually a 'no bail' charge, but in this case both Mark and Raquel were granted bail by a local judge. Mark's bail was set at $40,000, which was allowed to be paid by bond... and Raquel's was set $30,000, also bondable.
Both Raquel and Mark were ordered to stay away from Debby Constantino. Source.

John Constantine: So, what's new?
Beeman: Bullet shavings from the assassination attempt on the Pope... Holy-water ampoules from the River Jordan... and - oh, you'll love this... Screech beetle from Amityville.
Constantine, 2005

During an interview in 2011, Debby talked to KRNV-TV about her line of work. Now the words seem haunting, shedding light onto her own mortality.

"You respect people until they disrespect you. They're dead, and Lord knows we're all going to be dead. We may meet in the same room; why not be nice to them?" she said.
Mark and Debby Constantino were both paranormal investigators, specializing in EVP, Electronic Voice Phenomena, or ghost voices on tape. The Constantinos rose to celeb status by appearing on the Travel Channel series Ghost Adventures, where they were appeared at least four times as EVP experts to assist the team’s paranormal investigations. They also were featured on a spinoff, and made guest appearances at paranormal conferences nationally, making many friends on the con circuit.

On Ghost Adventures, Constantinos were on "Return to Goldfield Hotel" (2011), "Washoe Club and Chollar Mine" (2009), "Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum" (2009), and "Old Idaho Penitentiary" (2008).

Premiering on June 17, 2011, Paranormal Challenge was an American competitive paranormal reality television series on the Travel Channel. A spinoff of Ghost Adventures, the series was created and hosted by lead investigator Zak Bagans, who challenged ghost hunters from around the United States to go head-to-head in a weekly competition to gather paranormal evidence by spending a night in reportedly haunted locations in the United States. The first season of the show ended on September 16, 2011. Lead judge David Schrader announced on Darkness Radio that the show would not be renewed for a second season.

Debby and Mark Constantino, both identified as EVP investigators, were judges on Episode 1.4.

The lexilink between the Constantinos and the graphic novel & film character Constantine (meaning constant, steady, stable) is not lost on occult and synchrocinematic investigators.

Constantine is a 2005 supernatural action-thriller film directed by Francis Lawrence as his feature film directorial debut, starring Keanu Reeves as John Constantine, with Rachel Weisz, Shia LaBeouf, Tilda Swinton, and Djimon Hounsou. With a screenplay by Kevin Brodbin and Frank Cappello, the film is loosely based on Vertigo Comics' Hellblazer comic book, which is also a part of and run by DC Comics, with plot elements taken from the "Dangerous Habits" story arc (issues #41-46) and the "Original Sins" trade paperback. The character of John Constantine was introduced by comic book writer/creator Alan Moore while writing the Swamp Thing, first appearing there in June 1985.
In 1988, the character of John Constantine was given his own comic book title, Hellblazer, published by DC Comics under its Vertigo Comics imprint. The “Dangerous Habits” story arc of Hellblazer was written by Garth Ennis in 1991, on which the film is partly based. The film, which was met by film critics with mixed reactions, portrays John Constantine as a cynic with the ability to perceive and communicate with half-angels and half-demons in their true form. He seeks salvation from eternal damnation in Hell for a suicide attempt in his youth. Constantine exorcises demons back to Hell in a bid to earn favor with Heaven but has become weary over time. With death looming, he helps a troubled police detective learn the truth about her sister's death while simultaneously unraveling a much larger and darker plot. Source.

Delta State University: Professor Killed

Update: "Late Monday night, officers spotted [adjunct instructor Shannon] Lamb pull over his car near Greenville and run into the woods. Soon afterward, they heard a single gunshot and found Lamb's body," reported the media. The woods, the trees, the tragedy. It ended as a murder-suicide, after all.

The seal of Delta State University is an eagle (symbolic of the hidden Masonic Phoenix) and a triangle (symbolic..., well, you know).

On September, 14, 2015, there was a shooting at the college, leaving at least one dead.

A male professor was dead in the Monday shooting at Delta State University, said Bolivar County Deputy Coroner Ted Ray. The campus remained under lockdown, according to the university's Twitter account.

Police identified the victim as Prof. Ethan Schmidt, an assistant professor of history who recently published his second book, according to an article on the school's website.

Mississippi Department of Public Safety spokesman Warren Strain, in earlier reports, said a man who is believed to be the shooter was still at large. He said a description of the person was not immediately available. That would soon change.

The book is entitled The Divided Dominion: Social Conflict and Indian Hatred in Early Virginia (University Press of Colorado, 2015), about Bacon's Rebellion.

A Geography professor at Delta State University is accused of killing a woman in Gautier, Mississippi, just after 10 a.m. on September 14. That shooting is believed to be linked to the shooting death of Professor Eric Schmidt at the college at 10:45 a.m. on the same day. The suspect in the Gautier killing has been named as Shannon Lamb, 45. He’s considered a person-of-interest in Schmidt’s death.

Lamb, who earned a Ed.D in education from Delta State earlier this year, listed his areas of research as Public Memory Suppression and the Hidden Landscape. He had a speciality in Geography in Crime.

These are some photos from Lamb's Facebook page.

Lamb is a native of Germany. Abigail Osteen, his bandmate, is the daughter of his girlfriend, the woman he allegedly shot dead, Amy Prentiss.

The earlier murder victim is believe to be Amy Prentiss. (Amy Prentiss is the character name of a 1974-1975 television program about a police woman, a spin-off of Ironsides.)

The shooting appears to be a love-triangle, no pun intended.

Students and faculty at the Cleveland, Mississippi campus are being advised to stay away from windows.

The lockdown began about 10:45 a.m. local time, with the university advising students, faculty and staff to take shelter and stay away from windows. The university has about 4,000 students.

Cleveland is a city of just over 12,000 people. It's located 38 miles northeast of Greenville.

(Various media are saying that a hostage situation was in progress, and then denied by law enforcement. Also there are reports that a shooting took place at another university, and then the gunman came to the Delta State University to shoot Schmidt. Neither were examples of completely correct or informed reporting.)

In summary, Ethan Schmidt was a professor who specialized in indigenous peoples' mistreatment in colonial times, and yet the German-born Shannon Lamb has the name of the one conducting the sacrifices. Lamb's academic specialities, he reported, were the Geography of Crime (such as 33 degree locations), Hidden Landscape, and Public Memory Suppression.

Please note, the location of where Lamb killed Schmidt, Cleveland, Ohio's Delta State University is on the 33 degree - specifically 33deg44'31" N & 90deg,43'36" W.

Amy Prentiss was an outreach minister at Oasis Church, an interdenominational congregation in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Pascagoula is well-known as the site of a 1973 alien abduction involving unforgettable creatures (see illustration). Amy Prentiss was born on April 3, 1974, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. According to her Facebook page, she was a fan of Finding Bigfoot.

Short History of Delta University

The school was established in 1924 as a public institution by the State of Mississippi, using the facilities of the former Bolivar County Agricultural High School, which consisted of three buildings in Cleveland. On February 19, 1924, Senators William B. Roberts and Arthur Marshall cosponsored Senate Bill No. 236, which established Delta State Teachers College, which Mississippi Governor Henry Whitfield signed on April 9, 1924. The three buildings were Hill Hall, an administration and classroom building, Hardee Hall, a men's dormitory, and Taylor Hall, a women's dormitory. On February 14, 1924, James Wesley Broom was appointed president of the college and the college opened its doors on September 15, 1925. In May 1926, Broom died following complications from an ear infection, and William Zeigel was named his successor. The seal of the college was designed in 1928 as a project of an art class.

World War II greatly affected the college. Anticipating the war in 1941, the college created a civilian pilot training program, which evolved into the current Commercial Aviation Department. When the war began, 254 Delta State students joined the armed forces. When the war ended, student enrollment at Delta State increased from 185 to 483.

During the 1947 session of the Delta Council, Dean Acheson (Under-Secretary of State in Truman's administration) delivered a speech on campus that unveiled the Marshall Plan, detailing postwar relief for Europe.

In 1955, the name Delta State Teachers College was changed to Delta State College. Delta State earned full accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in 1963, which eventually led to the opening of the graduate program in 1965. In 1974 the college changed its name to the current Delta State University.

In 1965 Delta State initiated a graduate program (Master of Education in Elementary Education, Elementary Supervision, Guidance, English, History, Math, Music, Social Studies, Business Education, Physical Education, and Science).

From 1925 to 1967 the university had a White-only race admission policy. In 1967 racial segregation of DSU ended. The first African-American student, Shirley Antoinette Washington, enrolled at DSU.

In 2005 Delta State assisted refugees from Hurricane Katrina by opening Hugh White Hall as temporary housing.

I note Leflore Circle:

Leflore
(French): unexplained; perhaps an altered form of German Leffler or Löffler (see Loeffler, below).
Antoine Leflore (b. c. 1763 in Alsace-Lorraine) was a fur trader who migrated from France to Canada, and from there to New Orleans, then up the Mississipi River to Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo.

Loeffler:
German (Löffler) and Jewish (Ashkenazic): occupational name for a maker or seller of spoons, from an agent derivative of Middle High German leffel, löffel ‘spoon’. In the Middle Ages spoons were normally carved from wood, or more rarely from bone or horn.
