Chardon High School Shooting: 5 Shot, 3 Die, Suspect Caught

Columbine copycat? A cafeteria shooting. Photos on the Internet. Name game links to the Valentine's Day NIU shooting. This Monday brings news of a classic school shooting.

One student has been killed, four wounded (with a rumor circulating at 10 pm that another student has died), and one arrested on Monday, February 27, 2012, in Ohio. The shooter has been identified as Thomas J. Lane.

T. J. Lane is pictured on Facebook on the alleged shooter's page.

According to the Facebook profile of T. J. Lane, one of Lane's favorite books is listed as "The David Icke Guide," and a person the inspired Lane is noted as "David Icke."

The father of suspected Ohio school shooter TJ Lane has been busted several times for violence against women, including TJ's mom, according to court records. He had been warned to stay away from the boy and his mother, reports the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Dad Thomas Lane Jr. and TJ's mom were each charged with domestic violence against each other, and Lane served time in prison after trying to suffocate another women he later married. It's not clear what kind of relationship the father eventually maintained with his son. Friends said TJ was being raised by his grandparents, according to the newspaper.

The first Chardon victim has been identified as Daniel Parmenter, (as well as Daniel Parmentour in one earlier confused report). Others use the spelling Daniel Parmentor and Daniel ParmertorIn a strange coincidence, the victims of the February 14, 2008, Northern Illinois University shooting were students Gayle Dubowski, Catalina Garcia, Julianna Gehant, Ryanne Mace and 20-year-old Daniel Parmenter.

Late on the day of the shooting, The Guardian in London wrote the name as "Daniel Parmertor, 16." Intriguingly, some of the Guardian's wording also reflects material here, including this sentence: "In an odd twist, another similarly named student, Daniel Parmenter, 20, was killed four years ago this month in a shooting in Northern Illinois University." Furthermore, also during the evening, Reuters was using the spelling "Parmentor."

On Tuesday, February 28, 2012, officially, the names of the victims were announced: "The students who died from their injuries have been identified as Daniel Parmertor, 16, and Russell King Jr., 17."

Demetrius Hewlin died Tuesday morning.

A school shooting has been reported at Chardon High School near Cleveland, Ohio, local law enforcement officer says (Monday morning, February 26, 2012).

Civil deputy Erin Knife with the Geauga County Sheriff's Office says the shooting was reported at Chardon High School. Gunfire at a high school outside Cleveland injured a number of students Monday morning, and at least one suspect has been taken into custody, officials said.

FBI agent Scott Wilson said that there was one suspected shooter, who is in custody. He said four students were wounded in the shooting and one died.

"CBS This Morning" correspondent John Miller reports that at least one of the students was critically injured.

The shooting was reported around 7:30 a.m. at the 1,100-student Chardon High School about 30 miles east of Cleveland, said Civil Deputy Erin Knife of the Geauga County Sheriff's Office. CBS affiliate WOIO-TV in Cleveland reports the shootings happened in the cafeteria before classes started for the day.

Television news footage showed anxious parents escorting children away from a school building, and ambulances could be seen outside. WOIO-TV reports the high school was evacuated and students were taken to an elementary school to be picked up by their parents. Students on school buses were dropped off back at their homes.

A spokeswoman for Cleveland's MetroHealth System said a medical helicopter was dispatched to the high school. Schools in the area were locked down.

Bob Herp, a Chardon trauma nurse, was at a command scene at a local Wal-Mart store where he said helicopters were on the ground.

Chardon is a city, about 30 miles east of Cleveland, of about 5,100 residents.

The name "Chardon" has two meanings of note. As a French word, it means "thistle." As a Sioux word, it means "sand bar."

It was a day of the usual misinformation. At first, reports said there were two shooters.

Chardon students and Chardon area residents early in the day posted a striking photo of a person whom they say is the shooter, allegedly junior T.J. Lane. In it he is holding a sheet of paper that says, “02-26-12 XXXXXX High School” with the high school’s name blurred and what appears to be a handle on Omegle, the anonymous online chat service.

These reported photos of T.J. Lane holding guns are now said to NOT be of the Chardon shooter.

++++

If you have been watching the news carefully, there have been a slight increase in the number of single school shooting incidents. We should have seen this as an early warning sign of something bigger happening in the coming days.

Recent incidents include:
Wednesday, Feb. 22: A 9 year old boy (mother's name: Jamie Lee Chaffin; father's name, Jason Cochran) brought a 45-caliber gun to school, and it went off injuring an 8-year-old classmate Amina Kocer-Bowman at the Armin Jahr Elementary School, Bremerton, Washington State.

R.I.P. This is such a tragic event. My heart goes out to all the families of those who were injured and the one person who sadly passed away. :(

What a tragedy.

Unfortunately I was at Columbine, it took years for me to feel safe again and trust others outside of myself. Knowing the impact first hand this is truly sad and that whole town is going to need support. My heart goes out to all the families affected: shooter, bystanders, and victims alike.

Nonsens David Icke had never promote violents and will never do it.If this guy have David Icke as a rolemodel,he dont understand whats is real.
But i belive someone try do discredit David Icke, and they schould be a scame of them self.

I agree, David Icke does nothing more than promote peaceful retaliation against oppressive governments. He wants people to wake up and see what is really happening in the world and his message is of love and peace. Anyone who claims otherwise has either not read his books and is just out to frame him or seriously misunderstood what they read in his books.

I find it interesting that David Icke, the most passive of all conspiracy researchers, has been brought up once more in relation to a violent episode that is obviously influenced by the Columbine tragedy. The teens other favorite books were left out of the comment. Anyone who understands adolescence knows that conflicting emotions can be felt at the same time and this teenage boy was clearly emotionally unhinged and lost out to aggression. Icke is not to blame. The fact that Icke promotes peace is never mentioned or quoted by the media. Once more, a tragedy is used to undermine truth seekers such as Icke while the U.S. gears up for another war in the Middle East.

Once more David Icke's name is being linked to a violent tragedy. Icke is the most passive of all conspiracy researchers but this fact is never brought out. The media never quotes Icke's numerous passages of peace and nonviolence. Instead, it uses tragedies like this one to undermine his truth seeking while the U.S. gears up for yet another war in the Middle East. We need to wake up to the fact that the media is obsessed with violence and tragedy and is promoting another war for its masters. This school tragedy will forever be remembered by the students, staff, and family affected. It is for those we should be focusing our love and compassion.

Indeed trying to associated this tragedy to David Icke is absurd. One of Icke’s main shared beliefs is in the use of non-violent non-participation.

Please, People!!! Do Your Research! This was, and still is, a DHS Exercise!
REPEAT! This was an EXERCISE!

Can you not see the same pattern as all of the other school shootings?

Are you not tired of being lead around by the noses?

Wake up, People! You're being scammed!

It appears all the Icke supporters are finding their way here, and then jumping to defend against ideas not expressed in anything written on this blog.

The alleged shooter T. J. Lane posted that he was "inspired" by David Icke. Nothing more, nothing less.

Why kill the messenger (i.e. blogger)?

The note of that link was a report of an intriguing and yet unexplained detail of the young man's life. How Lane conceptualizes the thoughts of Icke is only known to Lane. No conclusions are espoused here in that regard.

The fact that the shooter was interested in the works of David Icke might helps us understand a bit more about his mental landscape.

Obviously, that's just ONE of the many things that form his personality, but at the moment, it's all we've got.

So y'all Icke fans do like a reptilian, and chill ;)

David Icke is peaceful. What we are being told is that he like David Icke. Prove it, because it can't be proven. Why? Because it will be just another "False Flag" event to discredit David Icke, who only advocates peaceful solutions.

What if we heard that he had read something about Obama being his hero and Obama signing the Executive Order to kill all the people in Libya, and he was just acting out his Obama fantasy. Then we would have to blame Obama. WRONG.

Now, this will be used to try to ban guns. Autos cause more deaths than anything, so I guess we now need to ban all cars.

the photos here presented are bogus- you cannot accurately fire a gun, because of the kick-back, without the support of the other hand/arm-

as for David Icke: he continues to be labled as a nut-case by closed-minded people who are not yet capable of pulling their heads out of the sand and realising there are other dimensions out there- that our 3-D, limited 5-sense reality cannot yet perceive on a daily basis what is out there-

narrow-minded people drive me crazy-

as the saying goes: "the mind is like a parachute- only functional when it's open"

This kid seems to be the type of fractured personality that suits mind control programs well. I wonder what kind of pills his theropists have had him on and for how long. The similarities are striking to Columbine...and I am intrigued. I feel for the families and friends of these victims, and can only hope for their quick resolve. David Icke would condemn this violent aggression against innocents.

Ok.. This kid came from a broken home with parents both arrested for domestic violence against each other.
It's probably safe to assume he was a little messed up. It being the states, the school shrink probably has him on psychiatric medication.
This is the factor linking ALL these crazy school shootings. Columbine, Virginia Tech, Fort Hood etc (check out www.ssristories.com)

How come no one ever asks "was the kid on psych meds?", it's a listed side effect that these, and some smoking cessation aids are linked to violent behaviour (and suicide.. In murder suicides the person who did it is almost guaranteed to be taking psych meds).

You can try deflecting all you like, blame it on David Icke if it make you feel better - I've only ever heard hippy virtues coming from the man.. But you are missing the point. There's a far more important issue that needs to be addressed, but theres too much money to be made from over prescribing drugs to kids.

They're HAND guns, not HANDS guns - then can be fired extremely accurately with one hand...

These "random" shootings stem from those abused as used in the CIA MKUltra mind control technology exposed in US Congressional Hearings by Senator Frank Church.

These accidental shootings are set off on purpose much like the assassinations and bombings are done by mind-controlled individuals (Tim McVeigh, Oswald, etc)

Read between the lines to know there are no accidents. Why the slant on Icke?

David Icke puts out good credible information about the One World Order corruption EXCEPT for his support of the alien hoax which is staged with incredible hidden technology (Blue Beam Project) and hologram aka light shows.

I honestly believe American parents should blame themselves on why their children are turning more deluded in thinking violence will solve their inadequacies, before turning their finger on Illuminated Cabalistic slithering scenarios.

But what do I know, right? I must be just a stooge for the Zionists ;)

Tragedies all around.

As I doubt if my words could console anyone involved, affected; might I address those who found themselves here after being prompted by the one they defend - David Icke.

I've seen David's performances in three countries and read all of his books. To say he is about "love and peace..." is inaccurate in the very least and plain naiive, assuredly.

David may well not be aware (he's another pawn) but the great majority of his energy is directed at dividing the unwitting against itself - "exposing" what is to be despised, rejected, fought against etc.

90% of his time on stage is totally energized with anger and frustration at what he's describing so passionately. When he pays "lip-service" to the peace and love thing - we are all one - it's clear his heart is not there. Same with his books.

Yes, he never says "kill, destroy..." He doesn't have to. Anyone who believes as gospel (as his followers do) the way he sees things, are naturally (well, in accord with programming) outraged. And in that energy (again becuse of programming) have no desire to unify with the 'usual-suspects' (immuminati, dark cabal, reptilians...) which are devices Icke uses to further his own agenda, which is clearly fuelled by the injustices he sees and feels powerless to do anything about it.

This is why those who think like him (outraged and powerless) flock together whenever, wherever possible chanting "our time will come..." and other hopeless displays of frustrations.

In response to this comment I would like to ask a few questions and state some opinions. Why would you even mention Icke In such a short bit without any explaination, unless you were trying to refere his work to "bad influence". In all honesty, it does seem as though you were discrediting Icke's work. Basically it is like saying a half truth...you never lied because you never told the whole truth.

David Icke, in my opinion, is a wonderful, intelligent, loving, caring human being. His work is enlightening and non-violent. Whoever was behind the scenes of this horrific shooting is obviously trying to discredit David. Anyone who has a right mind can see that.

Simon Coles said...

Why is David Icke mentioned so early in this article, before any of the details of the shooting?
For example, if someone were to write "Hitler, who was a vegetarian, ordered the horrific deaths of millions of people", it would be clear that the writer has at least some kind of agenda re: vegetarianism.
This is transparently a piece of anti-Icke propaganda, which is just empty and meaningless: Icke always espouses completely peaceful action in all things, and as such is to be admired, not associated with a horrific shooting in a badly written article.
