Epstein's Enigmatic Temple

Update

On the same day Jeffrey Epstein was arrested on arrival at a New Jersey airport on sex trafficking charges, federal agents bashed in the door of his $77 million Manhattan mansion and seized evidence to aid in his prosecution. But the multimillionaire’s Virgin Islands hideaway, where the wealthy hedge fund manager allegedly trafficked girls for sex and entertained politicians, businessmen and scientists, seemingly remained untouched by the law.

That changed on Monday, August 12, 2019.

FBI agents — accompanied by Customs personnel, local police and New York City officers, according to a Virgin Islands source — fanned out in golf carts across Epstein’s estate on Little St. James Island. They scooped up evidence just two days after Epstein was found dead in his jail cell of an apparent suicide while in federal custody in Manhattan.

***

There will be many mysteries to discuss for conspiracy theorists, political pundits, and alternative media journalists in the coming weeks in the wake of the 8/10/2019 death of Jeffrey Epstein. But one riddle that stands out is the twilight meaning to be found in Epstein's enigmatic "temple."

One item Epstein left behind that defies explanation, thus far, is his mysterious blue-striped temple. Those who have investigated the structure found that while it previously featured a gold dome, it flew off in 2017 when the hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated the region.

The blue-striped structure sits on a lookout point on the southeastern edge of Little St. James Island, which Epstein purchased in 1998 for $7.95 million. The building is surrounded by an expansive terrace painted bright white with red shapes.
The base is painted with broad, vivid blue horizontal stripes, and supports a large, golden dome. The entrance consists of an arched, seemingly wooden door equipped with black metal hardware. The sides appear to be cut with large windows, including a full-length one in the rear. The front is flanked by statues painted in gold; one of them appears to be the trident-wielding Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, while two others look like birds perched on the corners of the roof. It is surrounded by a line of palm trees and a terrace with a labyrinth motif. Finally, the exterior seems to incorporate an optical illusion, to create the impression that the exterior windows and door are set within carved flanges. Source.

Rumors abound that it is a gym, a piano room, or a sex slave hideaway.

People have attempted to figure out what the overall reason for the "temple structure" is. Since Epstein was Jewish, that may have been a clue. But it is unlike any Jewish temple.

In many ways, the "domed temple" was like a mosque, similar to the Dome of the Rock, the Islamic shrine located on the Temple Mount in the City of Jerusalem. The cubic base and dome seem to refer this to Islamic architecture, but figures holding tridents, appearing to be Poseidon would be a form that is strange for a mosque.

Tridents raised by Poseidon-like figures.

Domes are found worldwide, of course. In the new film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, a scene includes the famed Cinerama dome, designed by Pierre Cabrol and R. Buckminster Fuller, where the dome appears blue at night.

Editor Andrew W. Griffin alerted me to a similar looking geodesic dome, formerly a bank, in Oklahoma City, entitled the Gold Dome.

Neither of these domes-as-buildings are anything like Epstein's temple.

Research by online theorists have found that the Little St. James Island's structure compares favorably with the bath houses found in Aleppo, Syria, which are painted like mosques.

An Allepo mosque - or is it another bath house?

Footage was obtained of the use of underaged females (not shown below) in these bath houses.

The exterior painting is mirrored inside.

The Epstein "Temple" has become a meme.

The residents of the Unites States Virgin Islands have their own names for Epstein's island ~ "Pedofile Island," "Island of Sin," and "Orgy Island." Epstein himself use to call it "St. Jeff's Island." He also purchased the nearby Great St. James Island in 2016 for $18 million, located off the east end of St. Thomas.

His death extends his mysterious legacy.

St. James links to

1) The Saint James Church Massacre, in Cape Town, South Africa, in 1993. 11 people were killed, including 4 Russian sailors visiting as part of a church outreach program. One of the gunman later participated in two robberies of cash vans (like armored trucks with money), while an armed parishioner who fired back and wounded a gunman became involved in the anti-gun control movement.

Notice the 11.

2) St. James Day Battle, August 4th and 5th, *1666*, between English and Dutch forces. Simultaneously happening were the Great Fire and Great Plague of London. (Notice the Number of the Beast in the year.) One of the Dutch Admirals, Cornelis Tromp, was involved in politics later as a supporter of the House of Orange. (You'll notice the similarity of Donald Trump and references to his hair and looks as being orange.) Accusations of negligence followed; his brother-in-law planned a coup but fled the country. A supporter tried to stab a political rival of Tromp's, and another rival was later killed; Tromp was said to be involved.

General background.

Jeffrey Edward Epstein was born on January 20, 1953, in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, to Jewish parents Pauline (née Stolofsky, 1918–2004) and Seymour G. Epstein (1916–1991). His parents were married in 1952, shortly before his birth. Pauline worked as a school aide and was a homemaker. Seymour Epstein worked for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation as a groundskeeper and gardener. Jeffrey Epstein was the older of two siblings. Epstein and his brother Mark grew up in the working-class neighborhood of Sea Gate, Coney Island, Brooklyn.

We have been here before. Often. What happens when a well-connected person dies by suicide?

Former porn star Jenna Jameson took to Twitter on July 16, 2018, following the posthumous publication of an interview with Parts Unknown host Anthony Bourdain in which Bourdain sharply criticized the Clintons. In her tweet, Jameson suggested that Bourdain’s criticism might have led to him being “suicided.” Source.

Fayette Factor?
Epstein attended local public schools, first Public School 188 and then Mark Twain Junior High School nearby. In 1967, Epstein attended the National Music Camp at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. He was a talented musician who learned to play the piano when he was five. He graduated in 1969 from Lafayette High School at age 16 having skipped two grades. Later that year, he attended classes at Cooper Union until he changed colleges in 1971. From September 1971, he attended the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University, but left without receiving a degree in June 1974.
Intriguing we should find the Fayette Factor in Epstein's story.
Dalton Connection?
Epstein started working after the summer of 1974 as a physics and mathematics teacher at the Dalton School in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Epstein taught at the exclusive private school from the fall of 1974 until he was dismissed in June 1976. While teaching at the school, Epstein became acquainted with Alan Greenberg, the chief executive officer of Bear Stearns, whose son and daughter were going to the school. Greenberg's daughter, Lynne Koeppel, pointed to a parent teacher conference where Epstein influenced another Dalton parent into advocating for him to Greenberg. Greenberg, impressed with Epstein's intelligence and drive for financial success, offered him a job at Bear Stearns.
Then we turn around, and the Dalton name (= "living in the valley") springs up in Epstein's narrative too.
Intelligence Agent?
Epstein stated to some people [in the early 1980s] that he was an intelligence agent. Whether this statement was truthful or in jest is not clear. During the 1980s, Epstein possessed an Austrian passport that had his photo but a false name. The passport showed his place of residence in Saudi Arabia. U.S. Florida District Attorney Alexander Acosta who handled Epstein's criminal case in 2008 stated that he had been told that Epstein "belonged to intelligence", was "above his pay grade" and to "leave it alone".
During this period, one of Epstein's clients was the Saudi Arabian businessman Adnan Khashoggi, who was the middleman in transferring American weapons from Israel to Iran, as part of the Iran-Contra Affair in the 1980s. Khashoggi was one of several defense contractors that he knew. In the mid-1980s, Epstein traveled multiple times between the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. While in London, Epstein met Steven Hoffenberg. They had been introduced through Douglas Leese, a defense contractor, and John Mitchell, the former US Attorney General.
Are we surprised that some people are seriously speculating that Epstein is still alive and his body has been spirited away to a Mideastern country? By Mossad?
Suicide?
Epstein died of an apparent suicide by hanging on August 10, 2019, while imprisoned at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City. Prison officials found his body in his cell at 6:30 a.m. Three weeks previously he had been found unconscious in his jail cell with injuries to his neck. After that incident, he was placed on suicide watch. However, he was not on suicide watch at the time of his death, leading some prison experts to express bafflement and shock that he would be taken off suicide watch at such a time. U.S Attorney General William Barr ordered an investigation by the Department of Justice Inspector General in addition to the FBI investigation, saying he was "appalled" by Epstein's death in federal custody. Epstein was 66 years old.

More questions than answers = a storm of conspiracy theories.

Phillip Crabtree Dies By Suicide

Phillip Shane Crabtree, 18, of Texarkana, Texas died by suicide, on June 27, 2018. He was born January 12, 2000 in Texarkana, Texas.

Phillip Crabtree is survived by his father, Nick Crabtree, of Texarkana, TX, and mother and step-father, Kim Parsons and Todd Howell. His grandparents, Dottie and Earnest Crabtree, of Helenwood, TN, his grandfather, Tommy Strunk of Winfield, TN, an Aunt, Valerie Lamb of Muncie, IN, cousins, Cassidy and Brittney Lamb, of Muncie, IN, and many other members of the Parsons family.

Services are scheduled for Monday, July 2, 2018 at 2 PM at Texarkana Funeral Home – Texas Boulevard, with Rev. Charles Bell officiating.

The family will receive friends at 1 PM, prior to service, for visitation.

Phillip Crabtree was a Christian and worked as a Carpenter’s Helper.

On Facebook, Pamula Pierce posted "So sad for family friend, Nick Crabtree, who lost his 18 year old, only child, Phillip, to suicide last week, and whose funeral is today....Phillip took his life in front of his Dad."

The Crabtrees link to the Fouke Monster/Boggy Creek history.

Pamula Pierce's father is Charles Pierce (June 16, 1938 – March 5, 2010), the writer/director of The Legend of Boggy Creek (1973). Charles Pierce continued directing films into the 1980s, when he wrote the story for the Clint Eastwood film Sudden Impact. For that screenplay, he is said to have written the phrase, "Go ahead, make my day," which became one of the most famous movie quotes in history.

Pamula Piece and her mother were cast as actors in The Legend of Boggy Creek. Craig Woolheater shares that Pam "and her mother [are] in the scene where the kids saw the monster and the mom ran the kids back in the house."

For the Boggy Creek film, Pierce used members of the Crabtrees in front of and behind the camera.

The communities of Fouke, Arkansas and Texarkana, Texas, are interwoven, and there are lots of Crabtree relatives. It appears that Philip, Nick, and Philip's grandparents, Dottie and Earnest Crabtree, may have been related to Smokey Crabtree's side of the family. But members of Smokey's family do not feel there is any relationship. Perhaps there are two branches of the greater Crabtree family living in the Texarkana-Fouke area?

What we do know about Smokey's extended family can be learned via their obituaries.

Julius E. "Smokey" Crabtree, 88, died on January 16, 2016, in Fouke, Arkansas. Smokey had outlived one of his sons, Tommy, who was killed in a welding pipe explosion in 1987, and relative Karen Sue Crabtree, 50, who was killed in a car wreck in 2009. Also, Smokey’s wife Melva died June 11, 2005.

Smokey's official obituary recorded that "He was preceded in death by two sons, Tommy Crabtree and Lynn Crabtree, and a grandson, Jeremy Knight. Survivors include his wife, Fran Crabtree of Fouke, Arkansas, two sons and daughters-in-law, Travis and Mary Crabtree of Mt. Dora, Florida, and Jay and Toni Crabtree of Texarkana, Arkansas, one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and John Knight of Sparkman, Arkansas, ten grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren."

Other Crabtree deaths followed. Brent Crabtree was the son of James Lynn Crabtree, who died in 2011. Lynn, as he was called, was the second eldest son of Smokey Crabtree, who died a few months after Smokey. Authorities in Miller County, Arkansas have confirmed they found the body of a man reported missing in July 2016. According to the Miller County Sheriff’s Department, the body of 39-year-old Brent Crabtree was found just after 5 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016, in a wooded area not far from Crabtree’s home.

James Lynn Crabtree, 60, of Fouke, Arkansas, died April 20, 2011, in a Little Rock, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Crabtree and a nephew, Jeremy Knight. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Neal and Gena Crabtree and Brent and Courtney Crabtree of Fouke, Arkansas, four grandsons, Carson, Chance, Trenton, and Camden Crabtree of Fouke, Arkansas, his mother, June Crabtree of Fouke, Arkansas, his father, J. E. (Smokey) Crabtree of Fouke, Arkansas, one sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and John Knight of Sparkman, Arkansas, one brother and sister-in-law, Travis and Mary Crabtree of Mt. Dora, Florida, one sister-in-law, Paula Crabtree of Fouke, Arkansas, three nieces, Raynee Perry, Toni Pilgreen, and Starr Rawlinson, and two nephews, John Knight, III, and Jason Knight.

Karen Sue Crabtree, 50, of Fouke, Arkansas, died Sunday, January 18, 2009, in a Shreveport, Louisana, hospital of injuries from an automobile accident. Mrs. Crabtree was born Feb. 6, 1958, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a convenience store clerk (specifically, of course, at the Monster Mart).

Survivors include her husband, Harold Crabtree of Fouke; two sons, Jonathan Crabtree of Texarkana and Brandon Crabtree of Fouke; one sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Doel Harvin of Fouke; her mother-in-law, Lillian Crabtree of Fouke; one special aunt, Doris Sanders of Fouke; and a number of other relatives.

H/T to Craig Woolheater for the sad news of Philip Crabtree's death.

Mutology Data and Deaths: Tom Adams and Gary Massey

Tom Adams (foreground) and Gary Massey (in the background) in the vehicle they called "Thing," which hit many roads on the way to investigate cattle mutilations. This was NOT the Volkswagen Type 181 "Thing," which was a two-wheel drive, four-door, convertible, manufactured and marketed by Volkswagen from 1968 to 1983.

Instead, according to Christopher O'Brien, this was the personal nickname that Gary Massey and Tom Adams gave to Massey's 1970s' Dodge van that was retrofitted to have four-wheel drive (as pictured below).

Cattle mutilations began in earnest in Illinois, Kansas, and Texas, in the early 1970s. A few of us began filing news clippings and exchanging reports with each other. I corresponded with a few people about the incidents. Jerry Clark, Mark Hall, and Lou Farish were three of my correspondents regarding the topic.

Another passionate collector of incidents was Tom Adams, of Paris, Texas, who kept track of the cattle mutilations, as well as the (often black) helicopter sightings, via letters and in his publication called Stigmata. He was an especially well-informed researcher and loyal correspondent whose speciality was this one topic.

Traveling west from Texas in 1970, Tom Adams and Gary Massey drove to Colorado to research the 1967 "Snippy the Horse" mutilation case. Adams dove deeper into cattle mutilation cases after that. In 1978, he began publishing his newsletter Stigmata.

Tom also wrote The Choppers and the Choppers: Mystery Helicopters and Animal Mutilations (privately published by Tom Adams).

Out of this grew "mutology," the study of animal mutilations (most specifically cattle mutes, as they were called).

But what became of Tom Adams? And his friend and associate, Gary Massey?

Christopher O'Brien and Loren Coleman, June 27, 2018.

Christopher O'Brien, on the road in weird and mysterious America...

On June 27, 2018, a successful author and long-time cattle mutilation researcher visited me in Portland, Maine. He shared some partial answers to the mysteries of Adams and Massey.

Christopher O'Brien pointed me to some information he had posted in 2015:
Thomas R. Adams (1945-2014) helped this fledgling investigator/researcher immeasurably from early 1993 through 1999. He sent me hundreds—possibly of thousands of pages of documents to help get me up-to-speed about the cattle mutilation phenomenon (and other peripheral subjects) in the mid-1990s and spent hundreds of hours with me on the phone.
I last saw him in 1999 —just before he dropped completely out of the field w/ no explanation. Weirdness has ensued ever since and myself and most of his other researcher friends have never spoken with him again. The prevailing theory is that he burnt out and probably became a hard-core Christian, but that's not for certain. What is for certain, is that in 1999, one of the most important figures in the "cattle mutilation" community disappeared off the radar screen for over 15 years. Now word comes (9 months late) that he died, alone in his Paris, TX house...He died on August 20, 2014 after not showing up for work for a couple of days. ~ Christopher O'Brien. Source.
Thomas R. Adams May 6, 1945 Paris, Lamar County, Texas, USA - August 20, 2014 Paris, Lamar County, Texas, USA. Cremated, Location of ashes is unknown
The Paris [Texas] News, Sunday, August 24, 2014, Page A7 - Thomas Richard Adams, 69 of Paris, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at his home. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Thomas, the son of Jack T. and Hazel Evelyn Hutchison Adams, was born May 6, 1945, in Paris. He graduated from Paris High School and attended East Texas State University. His career at Flex-O-Lite spanned many years, and following that he worked several years at the Dollar Store.
He was preceded in death by his father on July 27, 1976, and his mother on Aug. 21, 2004. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, James Thomas Adams, Ida Hugh Cochran Adams, Judge W. A. Hutchison and Edna Denison Hutchison.
Survivors include several cousins including a first cousin, Patsy Daniels and husband Clyde. Source.

"Itʼs unclear whether at the time of his death, Tom even knew of Gary Masseyʼs apparent suicide in 2010." ~ David Perkins.

Christopher O'Brien reports that Massey set his house on fire, shot his dog, and then shot himself dead.

Gary Massey was born March 5, 1948, Virginia, and died September 7, 2010, at Sulphur Springs, Hopkins County, Texas. He is buried at Restlawn Memorial Park, Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Gary Mac Massey, 62, of Sulphur Springs passed away Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at his residence. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
He was born March 5, 1948, in Virginia, the son of J.L. and Robbie Kathlyne Melton Massey.
Survivors include his mother, Robbie Kathlyne [Melton] Massey of Sulphur Springs; one brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Holly Massey of Sulphur Springs; and two nieces, Cara Thompson and Meredith Massey of Sulphur Springs.
He was preceded in death by his father (J. L. Massey, 73, August 21, 1920 - February 2, 1994, Sulphur Springs, Texas). Source.

Thanks to Chris for reminding me to dig deeper for the exact bio details on Adams and Massey, for the record.

More historical context

Two books, both appearing in 1976, pictured below, did much to break the silence about the cattle mutilations happening in the West.

The legacy of these early years continues with highway signs in New Mexico and continued reports from the Southwest to Colorado (2009) and Canada (2006).

Another Hanging Suicide: Publicist Jeanine Pepler

Jeanine Pepler, 50, the publicist who represented novelists Jay McInerney (Bright Lights, Big City, 1984) and Candace Bushnell (Sex and the City, 1996), hanged herself June 17, 2018, Sunday night in her home in Sag Harbor, Long Island, taking her life the same way Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain did earlier this month.

Jeanine Pepler, who was raised and educated in Cape Town, South Africa, arrived in New York in 1996 and worked in public relations with the likes of Tina Brown, Michael Eisner, Julian Schnabel and Julie Taymor. Pepler moved to Sag Harbor a few years ago and was running a new boutique agency, AKA Life. Her bio on the agency’s website states: “Her guilty pleasures include golf, white Burgundy, Betty’s Greek wraps and her daily early morning romp in the dog run with Violet, her French bulldog.” Source.

Pepler's body was discovered by her boyfriend, artist Steve Miller (above left).

Jeanine Pepler created and managed two profitable divisions, Thru-Line & I.D., of bicoastal production company, Chelsea Pictures. Thru-Line represented high profile indie feature directors - Todd Solandz (Welcome to the Dollhouse, 1995; Happiness, 1998), Ben Younger (Boiler Room, 1995), and The Blair Witch Project (1999) filmmakers (Daniel Myrick, Eduardo Sánchez). Sánchez went on to direct Exists (2014), a film about Bigfoot.

This is the third high profile suicide by hanging among celebrities, about the same age.

Kate Spade was born on December 24, 1962, and was 55.
Anthony Bourdain was born on June 25, 1956, and was 61.
Jeanine Pepler was 50.

Suicide by Scarf

Kate Spade was found dead by her housekeeper in her Manhattan apartment at around 10:20 a.m. on June 5, 2018, hanging by a red scarf tied to a doorknob. She was 55.

Kate Spade's husband is Andy Spade, the brother of comedian David Spade. She is the aunt of “The Marvelous Ms. Maisel” actress Rachel Brosnahan.
Her sister Reta Saffo told her local newspaper that Spade had been obsessed with the suicide of Robin Williams and believes her plan to kill herself may have started taking shape as she obsessively watched reports of his suicide. Source.
Reta Saffo described how Kate watched the news report on Robin Williams death "over and over again." Source.

Robin McLaurin Williams (July 21, 1951 – August 11, 2014) was an American actor and comedian. On August 11, 2014, Williams died by suicide at his home in Paradise Cay, California.  Williams was found clothed, hanging against a closed closet door, with a belt secured around his neck, and the other end of the belt wedged between the door and the door frame, with Williams slightly suspended in a seated position. In the initial report released on August 12, 2014, the Marin County Sheriff's Office deputy coroner stated Williams had hanged himself with a belt and died from asphyxiation.

While Spade started with handbags, she eventually branched out into other items, including scarves.

Kate Spade used the same method to kill herself - a scarf from a door knob - as had been used by L'Wren Scott, 49, on St. Patrick's Day in 2014. See here

Laura "Luann" Bambrough (April 28, 1964 – March 17, 2014), known professionally as L'Wren Scott, was an American stylist and fashion designer.

A photo of dresses hanging from a tree which was posted on L’Wren Scott’s Facebook page hours after her death has been labeled an “eerie” coincidence. The posting was pre-written and pre-scheduled to automatically publish on her account.

Scott used a black satin scarf to kill herself in her ninth-floor duplex on 11th Avenue and West 24th Street, New York City.

L'Wren died on the birthday of Alexander McQueen, who hanged himself in 2010.

Alexander McQueen, a top designer, died by suicide by hanging in 2010, being found in a closet.

Lee Alexander McQueen, CBE (March 17, 1969 – February 11, 2010) was a famed British fashion designer and couturier. McQueen died by suicide, at the age of forty, at his home in Mayfair, London. His mother had died on February 2, 2010. McQueen left a note saying, "Look after my dogs, sorry, I love you, Lee."
