It Could Be Tomorrow! Black Sunday

Terrorism is a creeping phenomenon. It grows and evolves; changes and adapts. It lives off the fear and multiples the fear to spread.

One part of the Paris terror attacks of Friday, 13 November 2015, targeted a European football (to North Americans, soccer) stadium. There were three suicide bombings outside the Stade de France (the national stadium of France) in Saint-Denis, a northern commune or suburb of Paris.

We are living in a time in which the potential for stadium terrorism is real and the threats are taken seriously. On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, the friendly soccer game between Germany and Netherlands was cancelled with just 90 minutes before kick-off, at the Niedersachsenstadion in Hannover, Germany. German chancellor Angela Merkel was due to be in the stadium for that match. Another stadium in Hannover, the TUI-Arena, was also evacuated. The music band Söhne Mannheims were set to play there that evening.

In Belgium, on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, a game between Spain at Belgium was cancelled due to the heightened security alert caused by the Paris terror attacks.

In the American psyche, through popular culture, a real fear has been that there will "soon" be a terrorist attack at a NFL game, in a major American stadium. With all the threats against Washington D.C., will it be at a game around the USA's capital? The Washington Redskin will play at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, on November 22, 2015. What will happen tomorrow, on the anniversary of the John F. Kennedy assassination? Hopefully, nothing.

Nevertheless, this psychology for this forecast goes back to the 1970s. Long before the 2002 film, The Sum of All Fears, had an atomic bomb that was obtained from a Syrian go off at an NFL game in Baltimore, there was 1977's Black Sunday.

 But there's something in the air, and the terrorist organizations use this something.

 The tagline for the movie Black Sunday is "It could be tomorrow!"

Tomorrow is Sunday.

The International Skeptics Forum noted in 2011 that a certain researcher (its not important for this discussion to identify who) said that "there may be a nuclear bomb detonated during Superbowl XVL and if not tomorrow, at a future mass event, where hundreds of millions of viewers will be watching....[The] prediction is based on his interpretation of decades of pop culture, which he sees as the primary means of conditioning the populace, in the tradition of conspiracy theorist, James Shelby Downard, whose works examined perceived occult symbolism, twilight language and synchronicity behind historical events in the 20th century."

Black Sunday is a 1977 American action-thriller film directed by John Frankenheimer, based on Thomas Harris' novel of the same name. The film was produced by Robert Evans and starred Robert Shaw, Bruce Dern and Marthe Keller. It was nominated for the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best Motion Picture in 1978.

The novel that started it all.

The inspiration of the story came from the Munich massacre, perpetrated by the Black September organization against Israeli athletes at the 1972 Summer Olympic, giving both the novel and the film its name.

In the realm of syncs, a number of some significance, in recent years is 42, and its mirror, 24. Black Sunday's promotional photos prominently display a football player wearing "24."

In the film actual NFL footage is used of the Dallas Cowboys playing the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the book, the bomb via a blimp will detonate over Tulane Stadium during a Super Bowl between the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Redskins.

In Black Sunday, Marthe Keller plays Dahlia Iyad, an operative from the Palestinian terrorist group Black September. Although she was clearly scripted to be Palestinian, there was a hint that she was aligned with the German terrorist group the Red Army Faction (also known as the Baader-Meinhof Group or Gang during its early days; the RAF was active in German from 1977 through 1998).

Black Sunday was banned in Germany and Japan.

Tomorrow is November 22, 2015.

Super Bowl 50 will be played on February 7, 2016, in the City of Santa Clara at Levi’s® Stadium, in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.

For Black Sunday, the landing and hijacking scenes were photographed at the Goodyear airship base in Carson, California with Columbia (N3A); a short scene in the Spring, Texas base with the America (N10A), and the Miami, Florida Super Bowl scenes with the Mayflower (N1A), which was then based on Watson Island across the Port of Miami.

Groundhog Day, Anniversary Syndrome, and the Houston-Brown Drownings

As many of you know, an area of academic research I’ve conducted involves the sociological and historical impact and the mystery of death and dying among humans. I have done work and written books on suicides, suicide prevention, murder-suicide timing, "going postal" events, and school shootings. I have penned obituaries to celebrate life, to avoid dwelling on the type or moment of death, but instead to reinforce the remembering of a person’s entire legacy.

There are well-known but little-discussed syndromes that involve “when” people die that have always intrigued me: the “Anniversary” and the “Birthday” reactions and syndromes, for example.

The film Groundhog Day is a metaphorical journey about the Anniversary Syndrome.

One recent news item highlights the Anniversary Syndrome and how it is a form of the copycat effect. It is often quite evident if the method and timing are reflective of the circumstances of the death being copied.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the late Whitney Houston's 21-year-old daughter with singer Bobby Brown, was rushed to a hospital in Roswell, Georgia, on January 31, 2015, Saturday morning after her husband and a friend found her in the tub. Her husband Nick Gordon performed CPR.

A police report released on February 2nd said officers responded to the home in reference to a drowning. The narrative of the incident offered no information about the young woman's condition or the circumstances leading to her being found.

Bobbi Kristina Brown is reportedly in an induced coma and has "significantly diminished" brain function.

On February 11, 2012, Whitney Houston was found unconscious in Suite 434 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Beverly Hills, California, submerged in the bathtub; she was later pronounced dead. The cause of death was not immediately known. It was later ruled by the coroner to have been an "accidental drowning." Beverly Hills paramedics arrived at approximately 3:30 p.m. and found the singer unresponsive and performed CPR. Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. PST. Local police said there were "no obvious signs of criminal intent." On March 22, 2012, the Los Angeles County coroner's office reported the cause of Houston's death was drowning and the "effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use." The office stated the amount of cocaine found in Houston's body indicated that she used the substance shortly before her death. Toxicology results revealed additional drugs in her system: Benadryl, Xanax, marijuana and Flexeril. The manner of death was listed as an "accident."

Houston performed "The Star Spangled Banner" at Super Bowl XXV at Tampa Stadium on January 27, 1991.

Whitney Houston's "accidental" bathtub death and her daughter's apparent bathtub drowning both occurred around the same time of year. But more significantly, the two events seemed to have some relationship to being near the dates of 2012's and 2015's NFL Super Bowls.

In 2012, Super Bowl XLVI was played on February 5th. The New York Giants defeated The New England Patriots by a score of 21 to 17. Whitney Houston died on February 11th. The main halftime show performer was Madonna, with M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj.

In 2015, Super Bowl XLIX was played on February 1st. The New England Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks by a score of 28 to 24. The main halftime show performer was Katy Perry, with Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliot.

Ritualized directional hand signs? Katy Perry wears a 49 jersey.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Conspiracy videos after Whitney Houston died talked of her being killed by the Illumanti. See here.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
New conspiracy theories are floating around regarding the new Brown news, such as this one posted on YouTube by a Mr. Cati. BTW, Whitney Houston was 48, not 49, when she died. She would have been 49 on her birthday of August 9, 2012.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

But what if it is nothing more than the Anniversary Syndrome?

It is a matter of native folk knowledge that some people appear to wait until a loved one's specific death anniversary, or their own birthday, to die on during those nearby times. Research has proven it has a basis in fact.

Holidays are anniversaries of important events. Holidays and death go hand in hand. Birth dates and death do too.

The notion that there is an anniversary syndrome in which deaths are tied to birthdays or important dates in a person's life has been scientifically studied. The after effects of Post Traumatic Stress events can result in depression or rage linked to the anniversary of any traumatic event such as a death, war, or accident.

This is clearest, perhaps, as the date of death of a loved one approaches. The anniversary of a relative, especially a father or mother, can trigger a Sudden Death (SD), according to research that was presented in March 2008, at the American College of Cardiology’s 57th Annual Scientific Session.

“Sudden death is a major public health problem and is responsible for nearly half of all cardiac deaths,” said Juan Marques, M.D., Central University of Venezuela, and co-investigator of this study. He wrote:
Researchers evaluated a consecutive series of 102 documented sudden death cases of individuals between 37 and 79 years old. Life circumstances that preceded death were investigated. In nearly 70 percent of cases (69 cases), the underlying syndrome was coronary artery disease. In 13 percent of cases (13 cases), SD occurs on the anniversary date of the traumatic event of death of a parent (seven on the anniversary of father’s death, five on the anniversary of mother’s death and one on the anniversary of the death of the mother and father, who died on the same date). Deaths were not related to the loss of any other close family member. Roughly one-third (4 cases) died at a similar age as the family member who died previously....Nearly 80 percent of the patients (10 cases) who died suddenly under the anniversary effect were male. The reason for this is not understood, but may reflect gender differences in response to stressful situations. Source.
Earlier, in 1992, Dr. David P. Phillips, a sociology professor at the University of California in San Diego conducted a study that found that an approaching birthday seems to prolong life in women and precipitate death in men. His study, based on 2,745,149 deaths from natural causes, found that women were more likely to die in the week after their birthdays than in any other week during the year, while men tended to die shortly before their birthdays. It was the first study to show gender differences in so-called anniversary effects: changes in behavior on birthdays, holidays or other personally meaningful occasions.

Birthdays can be either "a deadline or a lifeline," said Phillips. "In our achievement-oriented society, men may find themselves wanting. They don't want to go through another one of these stock-taking periods."

The study was published in the September 1992, Psychosomatic Medicine, the journal of the American Psychosomatic Society, and found 3 percent more deaths than expected among women in the week after a birthday and a slight decline the week before. For men, deaths peaked just before birthdays and showed no rise above normal afterward.

It is true that you can find memorable events that have happened on any date on the calendar, but it is a different matter when the historic incidents are especially significant to the people dying.

Mark Stibich, Ph.D., has this to say about this topic, as it relates to traumatic memories:
There is a commonly held belief that people die more around dates that they associate with loved ones passing or near certain holidays. Some of the statistics prove true – there are more deaths around Christmas (for Westerners) and just after Chinese New Year’s (for Chinese). People seem to be able to time their deaths – extending them slightly to make it to a holiday, birthday or other event.
A recent report in Reuters told of a case in which a woman had a heart attack exactly one week (to the hour) after her father had died. The strangest part is – she was standing at the grave of her sister who had died when she heard the news of her father’s death. Researchers have called this the “anniversary reaction.”
Researchers don’t exactly know what the “anniversary reaction” is or how it might work. What we do know is that thinking positively about the future can add years to your life. So find something to look forward to and be positive about, especially near sad anniversaries. “Anniversary Reaction – Can Memory Trigger Death?”
If this is related to birthdays, where people actually are able to stem the tide of death until they reach their birthdays or important dates, you can see how it interrelates with the anniversary syndrome.

Destiny's Child Reappearance Predicts Future? [Darkness Update]

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Darkness Update:
"Officials: Superdome outage occurred when sensing equipment detected an 'abnormality'," according to the Associated Press.

This is what it looked like:

Below was what was written before the event. Did Enki's written insights and my imagery choices sense what was to occur??

Live blogging updates at the end too.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Rumors are developing early on February 3, 2013, that Beyoncé's Destiny's Child may reappear to perform at the NFL's Super Bowl XLVII's Halftime Show. What does it mean? What if it is only Beyoncé?

Enki sent in the following earlier, and I reproduce it below as a guest blog at 8:30 AM on February 3, 2013:

The day before the Phoenix shootings, another high-profile shooting took place. In Alabama, Jimmy Lee Dykes shot a school bus driver and took a boy hostage. The name Dykes originally referenced Hadrian's Wall (also known as Hadrian's Dyke), the most heavily fortified border in Roman Britain. This resonates with what RDR mentioned about Hummels's concern about border security.

The ongoing Alabama standoff is near Destiny Church. Destiny's Child has been in the news recently, as there has been speculation that the three woman singing group [which syncs with Anon's Singer (sing), Hummels (hum), Harmon (harmony) observation] will make their first (phoenix-like) public reappearance during the Super Bowl halftime show.

Destiny's Child's Beyoncé Knowles was in the news recently when she performed at Obama's inauguration. Public attention on this event increased when it turned out that she had sung along to a recording of the national anthem. Obama and football are also linked by a statement he made in a recent interview in which he criticized football as being dangerous.

The trailer for Scientologist Tom Cruise's new movie Oblivion shows a bombed-out football stadium. The "Birthplace of Scientology" is Phoenix, Arizona. The Dark Knight Rises also had a scene where a football field is destroyed. As mentioned in this post, the Phoenix Police Media Relations Officer is named James Holmes.

Obviously, my attention has been drawn to the upcoming Super Bowl game. In some of my writings on this blog, I have used the metaphor of an alchemical current connecting Red Dawn events, and alchemical symbolism is to be found in this year's Super Bowl match-up between the Ravens and the 49ers.

Alchemists used the raven to symbolize the nigredo, or blackening, stage of the alchemical process. The alchemist experiences a dark night (Dark Knight) of the soul during this phase as he begins the journey of creating the Philosopher's Stone, a substance which can turn base metal into gold. Gold resonates with the Ravens' opposing team, as the 49ers were named after the prospectors who arrived in California around 1949 during the Gold Rush.

In the Downard/Hoffman reality tunnel, one of the primary goals of alchemy was the creation and destruction of primordial matter, a feat which was accomplished with the detonation of an atomic bomb at the Trinity Site. Destiny's Child recently released their first song since 2005: "Nuclear."
The alchemical current seems to be winding its way to New Orleans.

Let's hope it does not spark yet another tragedy.

Jim Brandon, author of Weird America, emailed me a message after this was published: "Referring to the fourth paragraph [above]: Hummel is bumble-bee in German. I wonder if that adds anything."

Sunday Night Blackout Update

At 8:37 pm Eastern/7:37 pm Central, the Superdome experienced a blackout of half of the dome's lights during the Super Bowl game. This seemed to be an interesting event, in light of Enki's predictive notion that an "alchemical" dark k/night might be in play on this February 3th. Various people shared the following reactions and insights.

Brizdaz wrote in "Black Sunday: Loren Was Right, Sort Of," about the Black Sunday image I'd posted (before the game) above: "I remember seeing this poster that he used and thought, 'What's he saying that half the stadium lights would be knocked out on the night?' Well it turns out that they were, more or less."

A tweet from tobadzistsini noted this from Bane, in The Dark Knight Rises: "I was born in the darkness, molded by it, I didn't see the light until I was already a man."

Cory Panshin wrote, "Power outage? Well, I guess it's a more benign form of 'dark night' than many....It seems that only half the lights went out in an exact semi-circle. How yin-yang -- or Manichaean -- or something."

One of the more popular ads was one that goes into a blackout midway through it: "Wheat Thins - Night Vision Googles."

How about the links to the movie trailers appearing during the Super Bowl? Or the others mentioned or not mentioned?

Various movie trailers shown during this Super Bowl seemingly picked up on the "dark theme," included Iron Man 3 (May 3, 2013), Star Trek into Darkness (May 17, 2013), The Lone Ranger (July 3, 2013), and with this one mentioned, Thor: The Dark World (November 8, 2013).
Intriguingly absent from the Super Bowl was a trailer for Man of Steel, producer Christopher Nolan's and others' dark film opening June 14, 2013.

Then there were these attempts at fast marketing, post-blackout:

O'Day on Seahawks Shooting, 1 Dead

A former Playboy Playmate broke another shooting story this morning. (Click here for more on the concurrent East Coast shooting, "Webster Shooting: 2 Volunteer Firefighters  & Shooter Dead."

The Seahawks After Party at Munchbar Bellevue (in Washington State) was the site of a multiple shooting at 1:00 am, early morning Christmas Eve Day, December 24, 2012.

This occurred following the victory of the NFL's Seahawks professional football team vs the San Francisco 49ers, 42 to 13, clinching the Seahawks' berth in the playoffs.

One individual was reported dead, with, at least, three others injured. Rumors are circulating that another fatality has occurred.

All the Seahawks players there, reportedly, were said to be safe.
+++
Update: Bellevue Police have identified 19 year-old, Ja’mari Alexander Alan Jones as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest. The shooter remains at-large, and is believed to be armed and dangerous, according to the Bellevue Reporter.

A main source of inside-the-party events were first picked up by the media from the tweets of Aubrey Morgan O'Day (b. February 11, 1984). The former Playboy Playmate, and reality television and shorts performer (The Aubrey O'Day Show, All About Aubrey, Celebrity Apprentice, Making the Band 3 + 4, Ed Hardy Boyz 2: The Case of When That Hot Filipina Girl Lost Her Tramp Stamp at Mini-Golf, and others) was there with the Seahawks to celebrate.

It is intriguing in the days of Twitter, this social media exchange became a detailed reference point for the incident.

O'Day's tweets (@AubreyODay) moved from her descriptions of "dancing on tables in Hawks VIP" in a "Niners jersey" to the horror of the shooting.

O'Day wrote:
never been n a situation like that. Every1 was screaming on the floor, we had to crawl out the kitchen. Sea, someone tell me what happened?
++
Shit is crazy. I'm telling you. Everyone was on the floor. People got shot. WTF.
++
Seriously ppl just got shot n front of me. We hit the ground, never been in a situation like this. For real. Seattle, what's going on?!
++
So sad.
Beside the Seahawks there, O'Day tweeted:
there as well as some WSU football players
O'Day said security got her out. As she describes, most people dived to the floored, and then crawled out through the kitchen. Others tweeting her told of a man on the ground, with "blood everywhere."

Update: A 30-year-year old Seattle man was said to be killed and other man wounded. The suspect escaped among the crowd of 600 at the Seahawks festive event.

Cleveland Browns Suicide

Two NFL suicides occurred on Saturday.

The staffers of the Cleveland Browns, a National Football League (NFL) team, discovered an employee died by suicide on the morning of Saturday, December 1, 2012. The individual was found hanging in the equipment storage shed at the team's training facility in Berea, Ohio.

The name of the deceased is Eric Eucker (above: Facebook photo), according to Browns spokesman Neal Gulkis. Eucker, originally from Olmsted Falls, Ohio, did painting and mowing for the Browns at Berea and the Stadium. He was hired by the Browns in 2002, and enjoyed NASCAR during his vacation time.

Berea lies on sedimentary rocks, including significant amounts of Berea sandstone. This sandstone was formerly quarried for construction and also for use as grindstones. Indeed, the city proclaims itself "The Grindstone Capital of the World." The town's symbol is a grindstone, a tribute to the many grindstones that came out of its quarries. Before concrete came into wide use, Berea dimension stone was an important construction material and huge amounts of it came from Berea. Several lakes in the area are former quarry pits that have been allowed to fill with water, including Baldwin Lake, Wallace Lake and Coe Lake.

Eucker's suicide happened concurrently with the Jovan Blecher murder-suicide events at the Kansas City Chiefs NFL facility's parking lot.

KC Chiefs Player Suicide at Arrowhead: Updates

Kassandra Perkins: The victim.

Jovan Belcher: The perpetrator

Brittni Glass: Another victim?

American professional suicides (see "NFL Suicides: 12 in 25 Years") are back in the news.

Following two violence incidents yesterday - one murder-suicide initially said to involve arrows in a location rich in Indian-soldier conflicts and another of a university football player being shot - a football player on an Indian-monikered NFL team killed himself at Arrowhead Stadium on the morning of December 1, 2012.

In an apparent murder-suicide, a Kansas City Chiefs player shot himself in the head in front of his coaches at a team training facility after earlier shooting to death his girlfriend at her residence, police said.

Kansas City, Missouri, police spokesman Darin Snapp identified the player as linebacker Jovan Belcher, 25, who played football in college at the University of Maine.  Belcher, from West Babylon, New York, played at Maine from 2005-08. He graduated from Maine in December 2008 with a bachelor's degree in child development and family relations.

Jovan as a boy's name is of Latin origin. Variant of Jove, from Jupiter (Latin) "the supreme God." Jupiter was the supreme deity of Roman mythology, corresponding to the Greek Zeus.

The surname Belcher has its roots in medieval England, and, before that, in France. The name Belcher is composed of two syllables: Bel and cher. In Old French, Bel meant "beautiful or fine." The Middle English word cher (also derived from the Old French) meant an "an expression on the face"; in Middle English, this word was also spelled chere (as in Richard Belechere). A person's mood, especially gladness or joyfulness, as expressed on a person's countenance or face, was called chere orcher, the word we know today as cheer. Cheer denotes gladness or joy. Cheer was also spelled scher, shere, or chire (which is very similar to some of the variant spellings of siror sur, as in Belesur). When spelled cher or chere, the word also referred to good hospitality (such as one would find on the estate of a sir, knight, or gentleman). Thus, the Belcher name refers to a beautiful or fine expression on the face, hospitality, or, in summary, Bel = "good" + cher = "cheer."
Belcher took his life in the parking lot near Arrowhead Stadium as officers pulled up to park and saw him with a gun to his head talking to coaches. Before Belcher's suicide, the player was talking to Chiefs' general manager Scott Pioli, coach Romeo Crennel and an unnamed Chiefs staff member. Pioli and Crennel "never felt like they were in danger." Belcher, reportedly, thanked the general manager and coach for all they had done for him.

When officers arrived, the player walked away from the three Chiefs personnel and "a couple seconds later, they heard the gunshot," Snapp told reporters.

About 20 minutes prior to his suicide, the player shot his girlfriend in her nearby home, Snapp said. The NFL.com reported that Snapp said the mother described the relationship as "on-again, off-again."

The Kansas City Star, quoting an unidentified friend of Perkins, reported that Belcher confronted his girlfriend after she returned at about 1 a.m. following a Trey Songz concert. The couple had dated about three years and argued frequently recently.

The couple's daughter Zoey, born Sept. 11, 2012, is safe. The baby is in the care of Belcher's mother, who police said lived with the couple in their rented home.

Belcher was in his fourth year with the Chiefs after signing as an undrafted free agent out of Maine. He started 10 of the 11 games he had played this season, registering 38 tackles.

Other Kansas Chiefs players have experienced tragic deaths.

In February 2000, star linebacker Derrick Thomas of the Chiefs died from injuries sustained in an auto accident weeks earlier. Thomas was a Pro Bowler in nine of his 11 seasons with the Chiefs. In 2009, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

In 1983, Kansas City running back Joe Delaney drowned while trying to rescue three children who were struggling in a pond in Monroe, Louisiana. Though an inexperienced swimmer, Delaney made the rescue attempt. Two of the children also drowned. Delaney was a Pro Bowler in his second season with the Chiefs in 1982.

Updates:

The Chiefs played at home against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday and had an emotional win.

More details are surfacing, including the "Belcher spent night with [Brittni Glass] before killing," and that "In college, Belcher punched out window over girl."

More has come out, as well, about Belcher's use of pain meds and drinking to deal with head injuries and behavior outbursts. His football organization, however, noted they did not feel there was any problem in this area. Kansas City Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt told the media that "Belcher 'Had Not Had A Long Concussion History'."

Of course, that begs the question, what kind of concussion history did he have? In college? In high school?

Concussions have been linked to suicides and murders of and by NFL players in recent years.
