Brussels Attack Predicted?

On this Twilight Language blog on March 10, 2016, I wrote "there is a rumor making the rounds," that something big, something conspiratorial was targeted to occur on "the 22nd March 2016." This was being transmitted "in a global predictive fashion."

On 3.10.2016, I asked, "Will anything special happen on 3.22.2016?"

In America, we write this as 3.22. In Europe, it is 22.3.

A series of consequential events did take place today.

There has been major terrorist bombings in Brussels, Belgium.  The number of the dead is reported to be 34 at 9 AM EDT, and over 170 injured.

At Top: (1) The prime suspect in the airport bombing. (2) People run away from an explosion heard inside Zaventem airport in Brussels, Belgium. 

Zaventem: The old spelling of the municipality's name is Saventhem, but the oldest notation of Zaventem is Saventa, which dates from records of 1117. There are several hypotheses on the meaning of the name. One of them refers to the seven pools or small ponds that existed in the area during medieval times. Another one refers to small ponds in a sandy environment (sabulous clay). Others interpret the name Zaventem as a reconfiguration of zeven tommen [meaning seven (Gallo-Roman) tumuli or burial mounds] or zaaivelden (meaning field for sowing).

Beginning at 8:00 AM (local Brussels time; 3:00 AM EDT-USA), the first explosion occurred at the airport. What followed was multiple explosions at the airport and Brussels' Maelbeek Metro Station. The Metro, according to local observers, is "literally" underneath the offices of the European Commission and the Council of European Union.

The name Maalbeek, (meaning mill stream), comes from the Dutch words beek (meaning stream) and maal (meaning to mill). Molenbeek has the same derivation. In French usually the old spelling Maelbeek is used.

Skull and Bonesman John Kerry made a statement on the attack. Or as one conservative site noted, "John Kerry Condemns Brussels Attacks, Never Mentions Islam."

The first attack occurred at 8 AM Brussels time. That would have been 3 AM Eastern Daylight Time USA.

I woke up in the middle of the night, and, as you can see from the time stamp, sent out the following tweet at 2:42 AM EDT.

James Holmes' Evolving Appearance

Today is the second anniversary of the The Dark Knight Rises shooting on July 20, 2012. That mayhem took place in Theater 9 at the Century 16, in Aurora, Colorado, and left 12 people dead, 70 injured.

Holmes reportedly converted to Islam and prays five times a day, noted 2013 news items. (See here, as well.)

On July 17, 2014, Circa wrote:

Witnesses at a pre-trial hearing discussing evidence told the court in Oct. 2013, that when James Holmes' bedroom was searched after the July 20, 2012, theater shooting, police found that his calendar had the date of the shooting marked "with a unique symbol."

Thomas McGrath of Dangerous Minds wrote an article, "The Copycat Effect: Meet the Man Who Predicted the Aurora Shooting," which captures well my experience of the event.

If A Mayan Knocks...

"Just to be safe, don't let any strangers wearing feathered headdresses into your home for the next 24 hours," tweeted, on Thursday morning, by a Mexican friend going by the handle Red Pill Junkie (RPJ).

Okay. That's worth a nervous bit of laughter. 

So I searched for an appropriate image to go with RPJ's comment. Though not colorful, this first one I found (below) struck me. But I had not visualized a dwarf when I read RPJ's line. So why a little person, I asked myself?

Mayan Dwarf, AD 550-850 (Late Classic), Walter Arts Museum:

Dwarfs were important members of royal Maya courts. They are portrayed serving food, playing musical instruments, holding sacred objects for the ruler, and as diviners and scribes. Their elevated social roles were steeped in cosmology and religious mythology, especially that of the maize god, who was assisted by a dwarf when the deity set the Three Stones of the cosmic hearth at the beginning of Creation. The Classic Maya viewed dwarfs as the living embodiment of the maize god's supernatural helpers, who continued their sacred duty in the regal court. Maya peoples today believe that earlier creations were populated by a race of dwarfs who now reside inside the earth, living below the ruins of the ancient cities. The ornate turban worn by this dwarf is typical of the courtly garb of key individuals serving the ruler. This so-called spangled turban headdress is especially connected to gods and humans associated with Creation and scribal duties. A curious feature of this dwarf is what may be a halved cacao pod held in his right hand. His cheeks are covered with what appears to be a thin, woven fabric; this recalls other figurines, many of which are dwarfs, with an unidentifiable material plastered to the lower half of their face. These features suggest the depiction of a formal rite. The graceful rendering of this figure and the exceptional attention to detail reveal the work of a master artist.

I pasted in the above paragraph, because this public domain image definitely needed explanation. Then I went back to Twitter to double-check RPJ's exact "headdress" wording, to make certain I had typed it correctly.

I don't know why I should be surprised, but here's what RPJ also posted soon after his first one, but I had not seen it: "In case a weird dwarf knocks on the door, have a pen in hand...."

During my undergraduate college years, I actually worked with Robert L. Rands, Ph. D., one of the first modern era archaeologist to work at Palenque. Hundreds of sherds later, I had great respect for what he would find there, even though it was not as exciting as what Mayan conspiracy theorists see in his results.

What do I really think about the supposed Mayan calendar business, with all the melodrama about the end of the world coming tomorrow? The Man Who Predicted The Aurora Shooting

The avant-garde blog, Dangerous Minds, has posted a concise overview about a recent segment of my work. The piece relates to the pre-event indictors I saw that resulted in me anticipating a significant violent event would occur with the opening and release of The Dark Knight Rises.

On September 17, 2012, Dangerous Minds published "Copycat Effect: Meet The Man Who Predicted The Aurora Shooting" by British writer Thomas McGrath. You will want to read it.

I thank the author for his respectful article, which in a few hundred words tries to capture 30 years of my serious research of the copycat effect. I also appreciate those readers who are open-mindedly digesting this material, with the understanding that forecasting human behavior is going to be the next leap forward in foresnic psychology and the prevention of suicidal and homicidal events.

I've been doing this research for a long time. It is not often that someone captures the essence of it as well as this British profiler did.

I realize that some people don't like the use of the word "prediction" in the article's headline, for I am clearly not a psychic and do not claim to be one. But it is a useful handle to quickly communicate a concept about pre-event forecasting that few people understand.

If you read what I said on July 19th, the reality is that I did write before the Aurora event, in seemingly "prophetic" tones for people outside this field, that something big and violent, tied quite specifically to the opening of The Dark Knight Rises, was going to occur on July 20, 2012. This was not written after the fact. It was noted before it happened. There was a great deal to what I said, about past patterns, Joker copycats, violence, and examples like the anniversary of the Norway shootings that took place when Captain America was released on July 22, 2011.

I appreciate the accolades and accords given to me by Dangerous Minds author Thomas McGrath. I thank him for his clear reading of my insights, which, while grounded in Fort's and Jung's works that I read over 50 years ago, were not held against me. 

We all start somewhere, as per the famed quote up top, and I'm delighted with my conceptualizations that have matured nicely since then.
