In late October 2018, packages containing pipe bombs were sent to several American Democratic politicians and public figures, including Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Joe Biden. CNN received one addressed to former CIA Director John O. Brennan at its New York City studios in Time Warner Center, which was evacuated.
A similar device was sent to the home of billionaire investor George Soros. One device sent to former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, which had the wrong address, was instead delivered to the Florida office of U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, whose name and address was on the return labels of all of the packages. U.S. Representative Maxine Waters was targeted with two packages intercepted by authorities, one in Washington, D.C. by U.S. Capitol Police, and another in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Police Department and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The New York City Police Department is investigating a package found in Tribeca at an office owned by actor Robert De Niro.
The FBI is investigating two packages found at a postal facilities in Delaware, addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden. Wikipedia.

This occurred due to the packages beginning to be found, en masse, on October 24, 2018. The Soros package was discovered on October 21-22, 2018. The Biden and De Niro packages were revealed on October 25, 2018.

It was the 16th Anniversary on the 24th of October 2002 of the end of the Beltway Sniper incidents. Police arrest spree killers John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo, ceasing the Beltway sniper attacks in the area around Washington, D.C.

The "ISIS" flag...

The bomb had what at first looked like an ISIS flag. But it was soon discovered to be a meme created from a phrase used by Larry The Carry Guy. But American comedian Daniel Lawrence Whitney says the terrorist couldn't even spell his catchphrase "Get ‘Er Done," correctly.

The ‘Get ‘er done’ flag was originally created by the right-wing parody news site World News Bureau and has since been distributed far and wide on right-wing websites and online forums.

World News Bureau is reportedly run by a man named Scooter Van Neuter, who also runs BigHairyNews.com. His account was permanently suspended from Twitter in 2017.
