Mars Red: A New Red Dawn?

Mars Red, psychologically, won Iowa. That name would be heard as Marco Rubio on the morning news channels, but in terms of twilight language, it is a new Red Dawn to watch. As more than one mainstream media commentator said on Tuesday AM, Rubio has a "target on his back."

Fox News headlines said it all, after the Iowa results were clear.

Marcus "Marco" Antonio Rubio, a Cuban-American, was born May 28, 1971, in Miami, Florida. (On May 28, 2002, the Mars Odyssey finds signs of large ice deposits on the planet Mars.) Rubio is the junior United States Senator from the state of Florida, serving since January 2011, and is a candidate for President of the United States in the 2016 election. He previously served as Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives.

Marcus is a masculine given name of Ancient Roman pre-Christian origin derived either from Etruscan Marce of unknown meaning (possibly from the Etruscan "mar" which means "to harvest"), or referring to the god Mars.

The name Marco is a baby boy name. The name Marco comes from the Italian origin.  Italian form of Marcus: Mars (Roman god of war). Famous Bearer: Marco Polo (1254-1324), explorer from Venice. In Italian, the meaning of the name Marco means, "Warlike, Warring, Mars, Roman God of War."

The name Antonio is a Latin name, meaning, "Worthy of praise; of value." Saint Anthony is the patron sain of poor people.

The Rubio name is Spanish, a nickname from rubio "red" (Latin rubeus), probably denoting someone with red hair or a red beard.

Marco Rubio, quite literally, means "Mars Red."

I'm busy. I don't read everything I should throughout the sync field, so I am happy to hear from folks catching me up.

Therefore, one primary researcher in this realm needs to be credited and mentioned.

Within the synchromystic world, this individual has noticed the involvement of Mars in this year’s political arena.

Since 2010, Goro, who writes the blog Etemenanki, has noted that something special was going to happen with Marco Rubio.

Writing in 2012, revised in 2013, Goro notes of a special,
first "moment of truth" will come in 2016 when Mars One/SpaceX launches their first supply (unmanned) mission to Mars. (Notice how this might coincide with Marco Rubio/"Mars Red" becoming president [or vice president] of the United States.) If successful, we are going to see the beginning of a real "Mars fever" on this planet - an excitement that will eventually match and surpass that of the Moon race half a century ago.
Think about it. Going to Mars is exciting enough, streaming it all live is exciting enough, but this will all culminate in a one-way trip to Mars for the "lucky" four astronauts. Can you imagine the the intensity of all the drama that will surely surround the insanely historic launch? It will be surreal. And that's only about a decade away (2023). That's like from 9/11 to now. That's not a very long time to wait. I'm sure some of you have been following my work longer than that!
Goro projects:
The rapid, post-election rise of Marco Rubio as the new ("Martian") star of the GOP and a leading Republican contender for the 2016 presidential election (a status boosted by his Hispanic ethnicity), confirming our long-running projection - starting all the way back in 2010 - that Rubio/"Red" will be in the White House from 2016 when mankind will be reaching for Mars in a big way.

Furthermore, Matthew Bell emailed me, also, that Trump's supporters were analyzed in October 2015, as "Middle American Radicals" - MARS.

Onward.

Rumors of War: 2012

Okay, okay. No reason to go overboard. There is no need to think World War III is around the corner, despite what appears to be a blogosphere full of people seemingly hoping it is going to break out any day. Yes, really, that's what I see out there.

But, seriously, these are rough times, with many regional wildfire wars really to spark widespread chaos.

Of course, I have always found the worse hidden costs of our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are the suicides of our returning soldiers - and less documented - the suicides of subcontractors - and the covert mass violence situations from both. But more on that some other day.

Is it going to stop soon? Not if you listen to the prophets of the web....

General Wesley Clark has detailed his story, several times, of being told of the seven countries that would be invaded in his near future:

1. Iraq
2. Syria ~ UN/NATO members are thinking about getting involved in the current civil war.
3. Lebanon ~ ?
4. Libya √
5. Somalia ~ Backed by Kenyan troops, on August 20, 2012, the Federal Parliament of Somalia was inaugurated.
6. Sudan ~ New constitution in 2005; South Sudan became independent in July 2011.
7. Iran ~ Israel is threatening to attack, any day now.

Then there are the Biblical quotes to which people point, often:

Revelation 6:4 ~

Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.

Matthew 26:4 ~

And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Others have had other ideas:

Century 5: Quatrain 68

Dans le Danube & du Rhin viendra boire
Le grand Chameau, ne s'en repentira:
Trembler du Rosne, & plus fort ceux de Loire
Et pres des Alpes Coq le ruinera.

In the Danube and of the Rhine will come to drink
The great Camel, not repenting it:
Those of the Rhône to tremble, and much more so
those of the Loire,
and near the Alps the Cock will ruin him.

Perhaps it is not that bad, but certainly, all the indicators are that...

Crete and the Libyan War

What was the first civilization in Europe? What European country had the first palace?

The answers to those questions are (1) Crete and (2) Crete at Knossos.

A prediction: The role of Crete in the Libyan war will cause her reappearance in the news in the coming months.

A French C160 Transall taxis as a Greek F16 fighter takes off at the Souda military base, on the Greek island of Crete. Greece has no direct involvement in the air and missile attacks on Libya that began on the Saturday after the UN resolution of March 17, 2011. Still it has sent a navy frigate to the region and has offered the use of its air bases to the countries involved. The United States has also used a navy base on the island to build up Libya-bound forces.

A Qatar Emiri Air Force Dassault Mirage 2000-5EDA fighter jet prepares for takeoff from Larnaca international airport, Cyprus, Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Two Qatar Air Force fighter jets and a C-17 Globemaster cargo aircraft were heading to Crete in the first sign of military operations by Qatar so far to help enforce a no-fly zone over Libya, officials said. The planes made an unscheduled stop at the island's Larnaca airport, and government spokesman Stefanos Stefanou said in a statement that the aircraft would depart after refueling.

Crete is a location not to be underestimated in history, especially ancient history. Look for more news from Crete in the near future.

Crete (Greek: Κρήτη) is the largest and most populous of the Greek islands and the fifth largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. It forms a significant part of the economy and cultural heritage of Greece; while it retains its own local cultural traits (such as its own dialect, poetry, and music). Crete was the center of the Minoan civilization (circa 2700–1420 BC).

Under Roman rule, in Classical Latin, the island was called Creta. Under Venetian rule, it was known as Candia (sometimes anglicized as 'Candy'), a Venetian adaptation of the earlier Greek name Chandax (Greek: Χάνδαξ, "moat") or Chandakas (Greek: Χάνδακας), which in turn came from the Arabic rabḍ al-ḫandaq 'castle of the moat'. Under Ottoman rule, in Turkish, it was called Girit.

Crete has a rich mythology mostly connected with the ancient Greek Gods but also connected with the Minoan civilization.

The Idaion cave at Mount Ida was the birthplace of the god Zeus. The Paximadia islands were the birthplace of the goddess Artemis and the god Apollo. Their mother, the goddess Leto, was worshipped at Phaistos. The goddess Athena bathed in Lake Voulismeni. The ancient Greek god Zeus launched a lightning bolt at a giant lizard that was threatening Crete. The lizard immediately turned to stone and became the island of Dia. The island can be seen from Knossos and it has the shape of a giant lizard. The islets of Lefkai were the result of a musical contest between the Sirens and the Muses. The Muses were so anguished to have lost that they plucked the feathers from the wings of their rivals; the Sirens turned white and fell into the sea at Aptera ("featherless") where they formed the islands in the bay that were called Lefkai (the islands of Souda andLeon). Hercules, in one of his labors, took the Cretan bull to the Peloponnese. Europa and Zeus made love at Gortys and conceived the Kings of the Minoan civilization.
The labyrinth of the palace of Knossos has the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur where the Minotaur was slayed by TheseusIcarus and Daedalus were captives of King Minos and crafted wings to escape. King Minos became a judge of the dead in Hades.

The Minoan eruption of Thera devastated the Minoan civilization.

Wall paintings in Crete, the center of the Minoan civilization, show what has been described as a bikini, apparently a woman performing in athletics. Similar depictions have been found in Sicily (Villa Romana del Casale, 4th Century). However, Minoan women on the island of Crete 3,000 years ago wore garments that partially supported yet revealed their bare breasts; the best known example of this style is the Snake Goddess.

They used corsets that were fitted and laced, or a smaller corselette that left the breasts exposed or even forced them upwards to make them more visible. However, this corset was outerwear, not underwear. Covering the breasts, or even wearing a bra-like garment, was not a usual part of Minoan life. The succeeding Mycenaean civilization also emphasized the breast, which had a special cultural and religious significance.
