Syncs Most Sinister: Samuel Lincoln Woodward and Blaze Bernstein

News broke on January 12, 2018, of the high profile arrest of a "Lincoln" tied to several lexilink/name syncs.

I wrote on January 7th, "Something tells me, let's call it a hunch, that Lincoln will be one of the names giving us pause in 2018."

The Timeline:

January 2, 2018.

Blaze Bernstein, a 19-year-old Jewish student at the University of Pennsylvania, went missing on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, from his parents’ Southern California home, reported The Times of Israel.

January 9, 2018.

Bernstein’s body was found Tuesday, January 9, 2018, in brush surrounding Borrego Park in Lake Forest, California, his hometown, CBS News reported. 

January 10, 2018.

His death was investigated as a homicide and an autopsy was performed on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.

On Friday, January 12, 2018, Samuel Lincoln Woodward was arrested in connection with the death of Blaze Bernstein​, whose body was found in Borrego Ranch Park, a week after he was reported missing by his family.

Woodward as taken into custody shortly after leaving his home in Newport Beach. He was booked into Orange County jail booking # 3034445 on January 12, 2018. He had told homicide​ investigators that he drove Bernstein to Borrego Ranch Park on the night of January 2, 2018.

Woodward’s hands were scratched and had dirt on them one of the times he was interviewed by detectives. He told them the scratches and dirt came from participating in a Fight Club​.
Woodward stated he left the park, visited a girlfriend and went back to look for Bernstein hours later in the early morning. He also stated he did not remember his girlfriend’s last name or where she lived. 2

Jeanne Pepper Bernstein, mother of the deceased student, told The Los Angeles Times: "Celebrate the goodness that still exists in this world in spite of these acts of senseless evil."

January 15, 2018

The Times of Israel noted: "Authorities said Monday that a 19-year-old University of Pennsylvania student whose body was found buried in a shallow grave in a California park had been stabbed more than 20 times. No weapon has been found."

January 18, 2018

The Los Angeles Times headlines their story this date with a confusing headline: "LGBTQ college student is stabbed 20 times, but was it a hate crime?"

The article reveals some alleged facts behind the death of Blaze Bernstein. "

Woodward would go on to tell detectives that Bernstein had kissed him, according to a law enforcement source who was unauthorized to discuss the case publicly and requested anonymity. Woodward, the source said, also told investigators he had wanted to call Bernstein a “faggot.”

Samuel Lincoln Woodward and Blaze Bernstein went to the Orange County School of the Arts together.

Online comment makers in Los Angeles mentioned the bizarre coincidence of the Woodward/Bernstein names in this case, and the names of the two individuals who broke the Watergate case.

Names defined

Blaze is a very large or fiercely burning fire (like the wildfires in southern California in late 2017).

Bernstein is a Jewish surname meaning "amber." Amber is a jewel name that became popular in the 19th century, from the name of the yellowish fossil resin used in jewellery-making.

We do not know why Woodward was named "Samuel Lincoln."

Samuel is a male given name and a surname of Hebrew origin meaning either "name of God" or "God has heard."

Woodward is a name deriving its meaning from an occupation name for "a forester employed to look after the trees and game in a forest." Forest warden. Middle English woodward (from the Old English). Perhaps also from an Old English personal name Wuduweard, composed of the elements wudu "wood" + weard "guardian," "protector." Wuduwose, "wild man of the woods," reveals the same origins.

The Borrego name has an association with the "Borrego Sandman," the so-called southern California desert Sasquatch. Native peoples in the area are said to have lived with knowledge of large, fowl-smelling, wild men in the area, and avoided their reported home (called towis puki "camp of the devil") on the southern bank of the Santa Ana River. Specifically, "borrego" translates as "lamb" or "bighorn sheep" (to some) from Spanish; the word may be a derogatory term for someone of Portuguese descent, or a gentle, foolish, or gullible person. The Bernstein murder occurred in the Borrego Park in Lake Forest, California. The Sandman reports are referenced most often to the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.

Bernstein Bears

Another bizarre link to this is the "Bernstein"/Mandela Effect thoughts that are immediately brought to mind with this murder. The victim's name, Blaze Bernstein brings forth these notions. 

Some theorists "believe that the name of the books was actually Berenstein at one point, but we've shifted into a parallel universe — an alternative timeline, if you will — where the title of the books is The Berenstain Bears. There's actually a name for this theory: The Mandela Effect." ~ Aug 5, 2015

Snopes.com discounts this phenomenon:

No single example of the Mandela Effect has generated more online buzz than that of the children’s book series and animated TV show The Berenstain Bears. Quite a few people who grew up with the series, it turns out, remember the title being The Berenstein Bears, with the name ending in “ein” instead of “ain” (with some even going to go so far as to maintain that the fictional bears’ surname was changed along the way to make it “less Jewish”).

Another SecureDrop Suicide

As announced on January 9, 2018, James Dolan, 36, American software engineer, former Marine and co-creator of the whistleblower submission system SecureDrop alongside Aaron Swartz and Wired editor Kevin Poulsen, died by suicide "over the holidays." 

Details are lacking. The exact date of Dolan's suicide and the method are unknown, at this writing. It appears to not be a coincidence that this suicide came so nearly on the fifth anniversary of Swartz's death.

On January 11, 2013, Aaron Swartz, 26, American programmer, SecureDrop co-creator & Reddit co-founder, died by suicide, by hanging.

Wikipedia notes Swartz's death, thusly:

On the evening of January 11, 2013, Swartz was found dead in his Brooklyn apartment by his partner, Taren Stinebrickner-Kauffman. A spokeswoman for New York's Medical Examiner reported that he had hanged himself. No suicide note was found. Swartz's family and his partner created a memorial website on which they issued a statement, saying: "He used his prodigious skills as a programmer and technologist not to enrich himself but to make the Internet and the world a fairer, better place."
Days before Swartz's funeral, Lawrence Lessig eulogized his friend and sometime client in an essay, Prosecutor as Bully. He decried the disproportionality of Swartz's prosecution and said, "The question this government needs to answer is why it was so necessary that Aaron Swartz be labeled a 'felon'. For in the 18 months of negotiations, that was what he was not willing to accept." Cory Doctorow wrote, "Aaron had an unbeatable combination of political insight, technical skill, and intelligence about people and issues. I think he could have revolutionized American (and worldwide) politics. His legacy may still yet do so."

In 2011–2012, Swartz, Kevin Poulsen, and James Dolan designed and implemented DeadDrop, a system that allows anonymous informants to send electronic documents without fear of disclosure. In May 2013, the first instance of the software was launched by The New Yorker under the name Strongbox. The Freedom of the Press Foundation has since taken over development of the software, which has been renamed SecureDrop.

SecureDrop has been described as a Wikileaks-inspired software.

Another Legislator Suicide

Brandon Anotone Hixon (October 26, 1981 – January 9, 2018) was a Republican Idaho State Representative from December 1, 2012 to October 19, 2017 representing District 10 in the A seat.

On October 18, 2017, the Caldwell, Idaho, police department confirmed that Hixon was the subject of a criminal investigation. On October 19, 2017, he submitted his letter of resignation via email to House Speaker Scott Bedke and Governor Butch Otter, effective immediately. On October 26, 2017, the Caldwell Police Department turned the criminal investigation over to the Idaho Attorney General's Office. On October 31, 2017 it was reported that Hixon was under investigation for "sexual abuse allegations" from a police report dated October 25, 2017.

Hixon, former Republican state lawmaker from Boise, Idaho who was facing a sexual abuse investigation shot and killed himself, authorities said on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.

Brandon Hixon was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head in his Caldwell home early Tuesday, January 9, 2018, Canyon County Coroner Vicki DeGeus-Morris said. A family member discovered his body. Some say because he did in fact have those sexual relations.He was 36 years old.

Officials have released no details about the criminal investigation into Hixon, 36, except that it was related to possible sexual abuse. Records obtained by The Associated Press show that he was previously the focus of a separate police investigation in 2014 after being accused of inappropriate touching.

At the time, Hixon denied the accusations and told police he was worried they would harm his political career. It’s unknown if the new investigation, ongoing since Oct. 5, was connected to the earlier case.

Hixon and his wife, Danielle, had five children, ages 6 to 17. They divorced in 2016.

Hixon was elected in 2012, becoming one of the youngest lawmakers to win a seat in the Idaho House of Representatives. He didn’t stand out during his time in the Statehouse until he abruptly resigned in October after the sexual abuse investigation emerged.

After stepping down, Hixon was arrested twice for drunken driving and was charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest last month.

Hixon’s death comes after two recent others have died by suicide, after recent sexual misconduct investigations.

On December 20, 2017, James Csaszar jumped from the heights of the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, a sleek ultramodern skyscraper reaching 82-stories into Chicago's downtown skyline. Until November 2017, Csaszar had worked as a Catholic priest at the Church of the Resurrection in New Albany, Ohio. (See more, here.)

On December 13, 2017, Kentucky lawmaker Dan Johnson shot and killed himself last year after a report was published detailing allegations that he sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl in his basement in 2012. He had denied the accusations. After he shot himself on a bridge in Mount Washington, southeast of Louisville, Kentucky. Johnson was an American evangelical pastor and Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives. (See more, here.)

The name Brandon is an English name with the meaning of the name Brandon being derived from a surname and place name based on the Old English for "hill covered with broom." Broom is a prolific weed. Also Brandon can mean, "From the beacon hill."

In English the meaning of the source name Antonis is "highly praiseworthy." It derives from a Roman clan name. In the 17th century, the spelling Anthony was associated with the Greek anthos meaning "flower."


Hixon
English surname Hixon means "son of Hick". Hick was a pet name for Richard. The Germanic first or given name Richard derives from German, French, and English "ric" (ruler, leader, king, powerful) and "hard" (strong, brave, hardy), and it therefore means "strong in rule".

Name Game: Lincoln

The twilight language explores hidden meanings and synchromystic connections via onomatology (study of names) and toponymy (study of place names). The “Name Game” paints a picture, and it has been a major part of my writings since the 1970s.

The Name Game is about the relationship between proper names and the sync, Fortean, and harmonic power found in these special monikers. One example cited by Jim Brandon, Matt Bell and myself is "Lincoln."

Something tells me, let's call it a hunch, that Lincoln will be one of the names giving us pause in 2018.

Lincoln: From a surname which was originally from the name of a city in England, derived from Brythonic lindo "lake, pool" and Latin colonia "colony.” Found written by Romans in the 7th century, administratively significant. Name often used in honor of Abraham Lincoln, 1809-1865.

“Lincoln” has been a power name for a long time in Fortean and sync literature.

Matthew Bell notes in "Hue of Lincoln," the following, with links to Cryptokubrology:

"The earliest origins of Lincoln can be traced to the remains of an Iron Age settlement of round wooden dwellings (which were discovered by archaeologists in 1972) that have been dated to the 1st century BC. This settlement was built by a deep pool (the modern Brayford Pool) in the River Witham at the foot of a large hill (on which the Normans later built Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle)...The origins of the name Lincoln may come from this period, when the settlement is thought to have been named in the Brythonic language of Iron Age Britain's Celtic inhabitants as Lindon 'The Pool'..." And we see a connection, therefore, the names "Lincoln" and "Hugh." This sort of connection has been called a "Lexi-Link." Lexical nodes for "Linkin'" symbol patterns. Especially in the present context, then, we might instead call these "Lexi-Links" Lincoln Words/Names. Curiously, the inventor of "Lincolns Logs" was John Lloyd Wright: "John Lloyd Wright (December 12, 1892–December 20, 1972) was an American architect and toy inventor. ... Coleman lists the movie "Killing Lincoln (2013)" as part of Tony Scott's filmography - and the predicted release date possibly "could be assumed to be 'characteristic' of, or symbolically identical with 23" (The Rebirth of Pan, p. 170). Of course, the killing of JFK has already been mentioned. And the parallels between the assassinations of Lincoln and Kennedy are legendary. Downard and Hoffman are also known for the monograph "King-Kill-33."

Of course, the Lincoln power name hooks up to Fayette too.

"The Name Game" was written by U.S. singer Shirley Ellis with Lincoln Chase, and Ellis's recording, produced by Charles Calello, was released in late 1964 as "The Name Game." That record went to number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, and number 4 on the magazine's R&B charts in 1965. The record was re-released in 1966 and again in 1973.

Luxor Again

To Americans, Luxor is a name associated with the attack in Las Vegas, but it is a name that has roots in Egypt. On the night of Sunday, October 1, 2017, a gunman opened fire on a crowd of concertgoers at the Route 91 Harvest music festival on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada, leaving 58 people dead and 546 injured. Between 10:05 and 10:15 p.m. PDT, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada, fired more than 1,100 rounds from his suite on the 32nd floor of the 43-story Mandalay Bay hotel, situated next to the Luxor Las Vegas. About an hour after Paddock fired his last shot into the crowd of 22,000, he was found dead in his room from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His motive is unknown.

Luxor - 2018

A hot air balloon carrying foreign tourists over Egypt's ancient city of Luxor crash-landed 5 January 2018, killing a tourist from South Africa and injuring at least 12 others, Egyptian officials said.

Strong winds forced the balloon, which was carrying 20 tourists, off course above the southern city, home to some of Egypt's most famous pharaonic temples and tombs. The balloon took off around sunrise and flew about 45 minutes at an altitude of 450 meters (1,500 feet) before the pilot lost control over a mountainous area, the officials said, adding that the pilot was also injured.

An official statement from the Luxor governorate confirmed that 12 people were injured. The balloon passengers included South African and Argentine tourists. Tourists from Australia, France and Brazil were among those injured, it said, citing an unnamed medical official.

The hot air balloon flights are popular because they offer spectacular views of the ancient Karnak Temple and other historical sites. The flights usually start shortly before sunrise and pass over green fields leading to the Valley of the Kings — the burial site of the famous boy king Tutankhamun and other pharaohs.

Luxor has a history of hot air balloon crashes. The deadliest took place in 2013 when a balloon flying over the city caught fire and plunged about 305 meters (1,000 feet), crashing into a sugar cane field and killing at least 19 foreign tourists. Ballooning experts say the accident was the worst in the sport's 200-year history.

In 2016, Egypt temporarily halted balloon flights after 22 Chinese tourists suffered minor injuries in a crash landing.

Luxor - 2013

On 26 February 2013, at 07:00 Egypt Standard Time (05:00 UTC), a hot air balloon crashed near Luxor, Egypt. The crash resulted in 19 deaths out of 21 passengers – 18 on-site and one in hospital hours later. It is the deadliest ballooning accident in history and the deadliest aerostat disaster since the Hindenburg disaster in 1937 which killed 36 people.

The Britons Yvonne Rennie, 48, Joe Bampton, 40, and Bampton's Hungarian-born partner, Suzanna Gyetvai, 34, died in the tragedy. It appears to have been the worst accident of its kind in history.

Rennie's husband, Michael, 49, was being treated on Tuesday night at Luxor international hospital, where a spokeswoman said he was in a stable condition. He and the pilot, named locally as Momin Mourad Ali, were the only survivors. They, along with seven other passengers, including the other three British-based tourists, are believed to have jumped out of the balloon to escape the flames. Ali suffered 70% burns and was also being treated in hospital in Luxor.

The other tourists – nine from Hong Kong, four Japanese, two French and a Belgian – all died in the explosion.

A Wave of Zoo Fires

Several zoological park fires and fires near zoos/animals have occurred during the last week of 2017 and the first week of 2018. The timing seems bizarre, to say the least. And for a few people and animals, deadly.

A full wolf moon occurred on New Year's Day.

December 17, 2017 - Santa Barbara Zoo

The Santa Barbara Zoo’s visit from two of Santa’s reindeer has been cut short by the Thomas Fire.
The zoo welcomed two male reindeer Nov. 22, an adult named Holiday and a first-year calf named Lightning.
On Monday, Holiday and Lightning had to return home to the “North Pole” (by way of Windswept Ranch, near Tehachapi) as the Thomas Fire continues to burn nearby. The pair were originally slated to be at the zoo through the new year. "Reindeer evacuated from Santa Barbara Zoo due to Thomas Fire," by Kaytlyn Leslie, The Tribune News, December  19, 2017.

December 23, 2017 - London Zoo

A fire that began in the Animal Adventure section, then spread to Animal Adventure Cafe & Shop in the Outer Circle of the London Zoo, near Regents Park, killed Misha, an aardvark and four meerkats, on December 23, 2017.

About 70 firefighters tackled the blaze at its height in the Animal Adventure section....
One person was taken to hospital and eight were treated at the scene.
The zoo said an aardvark called Misha died in the fire and four meerkats were still unaccounted for, presumed dead. "London Zoo fire kills aardvark and meerkats," BBC News, Dec. 23, 2017.

December 28, 2017 - near Bronx Zoo

A century ago, they came from Italy — Belmont was where chandelier makers, tailors and the workers who built the Bronx Zoo, just a block over, raised their children. These days, more of the young people zipping by on scooters or walking to class at the public school around the corner have families with roots in Puerto Rico, Jamaica or West Africa.
When a fire tore through one of the buildings late on Thursday [December 28, 2017], killing 12 people, children were at the heart of the tragedy that has shaken the neighborhood. The fire was started by a 3-year-old boy playing with burners on a stove, the authorities said. December 31, 2017 - near Berlin Zoo

At least one person was reported injured and hundreds evacuated after smoke poured out of the [the zoo train station] buildings.
The fire broke out at the Zoological Gardens station in Berlin, Germany — adjacent to the park.
It is one of the most important public transport junctions, and a mass evacuation was carried out according to a police spokesman.
German media showed smoke billowing out of the train station, just yards from the site of the deadly Christmas market attack in December 2016. "Casualties reported in zoo blaze horror," Anthony Blair, Daily Star, Dec. 31, 2017.

December 31, 2017 - near Liverpool International Horse Show 

A fire destroyed all cars in a 1,600 capacity multi-storey car park next to the Echo Arena in Liverpool, on Sunday, December 31, 2017. The fire started on the third level; the horses were on the first level and all were evacuated safely.

The Liverpool International Horse Show was cancelled as firefighters tackled the huge blaze next to the venue on Liverpool's waterfront. No injuries to any horses or people were recorded.

January 2, 2018 - Woburn Safari Park 

Thirteen monkeys have died in a fire at Woburn Safari Park in Bedfordshire, [in the UK] believed to have been sparked by a faulty generator.
The blaze started in the patas monkey [Erythrocebus patas] house within the drive-through enclosure of the park in the early hours of Tuesday [January 2, 2018]. It was spotted by security guards on a routine patrol and three appliances from the Bedfordshire fire brigade attended. "Fire Kills 13 Monkeys at Woburn Safari Park," The Guardian, Jan. 2, 2018.

January 2, 2018 - near Bronx Zoo

A dozen people were hurt, though all are expected to be OK, as a six-alarm fire swept through a multistory building near the Bronx Zoo early Tuesday [January 2, 2018], drawing more than three dozen fire units and 150 firefighters to help battle the flames.

The 5:30 a.m. fire broke out in a tin-roof furniture store, where the gates were down, on Commonwealth Avenue in Van Nest and rapidly spread up to apartments in the mixed-use building. Synchromystic of the Year 2017: David Charles Plate

David Charles Plate is a synchronicity filmmaker, artist, and an authority in Hebrew Kabbalah. He is a student of the Zohar and the Occult. He notes, in his Facebook profile, that he has worked, in the past, at Ultramat and Metavinyl, and now at Picture Appeal, The Sync Book and Gonzo Journalism. 

A major work that has inspired others is Sorry Cassandra I Misunderstood: EVERYTHING PREDICTS 9-11.

David Charles Plate wrote somewhere once: "My close friend [Joe Alexander] produced a film called Back to the Future Predicts 9-11, this is both a response to this video of his, as well as its sequel."

Jim Keith (September 21, 1949 – September 7, 1999), author of 1992's Gemstone File, 1993's Secret and Suppressed, 1994's Black Helicopters over America, 1995's Saucers of the Illuminati, 1996's The Octopus, 1996's Okbomb! Conspiracy and Coverup, and other works.

John A. Mac Tonnies (August 20, 1975-October 22, 2009), author of 2004's After the Martian Apocalypse, and 2010's The Cryptoterrestrials, published after his sudden death at 34. Writer of the Posthuman Blues blog. Co-author with Paul Kimball of 2007's Doing Time. Kimball and Greg Bishop have been involved with the publishing of the collected writings of Tonnies.
