DuPont's Dynamite Train

There was an unfortunate Amtrak passenger train accident on Monday, December 18, 2017, when cars came off the tracks near DuPont, Washington. Three fatalities resulted, with over 100 injuries.

The straight facts, from Wikipedia, are these:
On December 18, 2017 [at 7:33 or 7:34 AM local time], Amtrak Cascades passenger train 501 derailed near DuPont, Washington, United States. It was the inaugural southbound revenue service run on the Point Defiance Bypass, a new passenger rail route south of Tacoma, Washington. The bypass was intended to reduce congestion and separate passenger and freight traffic, and was designed for faster speeds and shorter travel times (from Seattle to Portland about ten minutes less) than the previous route used by Cascades.
The lead locomotive and all twelve cars derailed while approaching a bridge over Interstate 5 (I-5). The trailing locomotive remained on the rails. A number of automobiles on southbound I-5 were crushed and at least three people on board the train died. The train derailed a short distance from where the new route merges with the previous route.
I don't need to write a lot about the syncs with this crash, as Andrew W. Griffin at Red Dirt Report already has written down his thoughts on this event, here, in the broader context of other dots that have presented themselves to be connected.

For more on the "LABRATS KNATS" at the derailment site, see here.

Returning to the hint of Mothman Math in this accident (13 off the track), it is intriguing that Andrew W. Griffin sync-mind is set off by something he is watching on TNT. And the TNT area in Point Pleasant was where the Mothman was first seen the most often, in 1966.

Now it comes to light that this wreck didn't happen just "near Tacoma," but more exactly, in DuPont, Washington State, which takes its name from the chemical company. E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, commonly referred to as DuPont, is an American conglomerate that was founded in July 1802 as a gunpowder mill by American chemist and industrialist Éleuthère Irénée du Pont. On August 31, 2017 it merged with The Dow Chemical Company to create DowDuPont Inc., the world's largest chemical company in terms of sales.

What item was manufactured with some frequency in DuPont, Washington? Dynamite. What explosive is most associated with the appropriately named "TNT area" of Point Pleasant, West Virginia? Dynamite.

DuPont, Washington, located on the Puget Sound 15 miles south of Tacoma, was an important explosives plant and a premier company town. Construction of the plant took three years, with the first dynamite produced in the fall of 1909. Source.

One of the lesser known historical tidbits about DuPont, Washington is the "Dynamite Train."

During its operation, the DuPont Company had a fleet of narrow-gauge locomotives and rail cars to deliver materials and explosives between the old DuPont Powderworks Plant and the Puget Sound. When the DuPont Company sold the plant and surrounding property in 1977 to Weyerhaeuser, the fleet of locomotives, flat bed and boxcars were included with the sale. In the same year, the DuPont Historical Museum opened. Members began the task of retrieving artifacts and oral history accounts to preserve DuPont’s unique history. In the early 1980s, residents organized a grass roots effort to rescue a 1941 Plymouth 12-ton engine along with 5 other rail cars from Weyerhaeuser. It is the particular train locomotive that navigated the line, which resides under the Train Canopy. Source.

The Silver Bridge collapsed happened 50 years ago on December 15, 2017.

On December 18, 1967, President Lyndon Baines Johnson sent West Virginia Governor Hulett C. Smith a telegraph saying the nation was saddened by the Silver Bridge collapse.

A Wave of September Shootings

Several people were shot, with one dying, in a school shooting as the 2017 school year went into its first month.

On the morning of Wednesday, September 13, 2017, a school shooting occurred at Freeman High School in the tiny town of Rockford, about 26 miles south of Spokane near the Idaho border. The address is 14626 South Jackson Road, about 12 miles south of the Spokane Valley.

Rockford is a town in Spokane County, Washington, United States. The population was 470 at the 2010 census. Rockford was first settled in 1878 by D.C. Farnsworth. The town took its name from a rocky ford on Rock Creek. Rockford was incorporated as a town in 1890.

"I was putting my backpack away and I heard a loud pop, and I turned around. He was walking around," Elisa Vigil, a 14-year-old freshman, told the Spokesman-Review.

"He had his pistol. His face was completely passive. He shot someone in the head. I crouched down in the hall. I looked up and a girl screamed, 'Help me, help me, help me.' The hall was empty. She was shot in the back. I looked to my right, and there was a boy and he was shot in the head."

One student who had engaged the shooter in a struggle died at the scene and three others were taken to a local hospital and were expected to survive. The shooter was reported to be armed with an AR-15 rifle and a handgun.

The Spokesman was the first to name the fatal victim as Sam Strahan.

The suspect, Caleb Sharpe, named as the alleged shooter, was said to be "nice and funny and weird." He was apprehended and remained in custody.

A sophomore, Michael Harper, 15, at Freeman High School told the Associated Press that Sharpe “had long been obsessed with past school shootings.”

Michael Harper told the Spokesman that Sharpe was “weird. And he loved the show Breaking Bad.”

On Instagram, Sharpe goes by the moniker Walrus Meat. On June 21, 2017, Sharpe wrote that Netflix’s controversial series about suicide, 13 Reasons Why was the “Best show on Netflix.”

Recently, the suspect had shared a note with some friends saying that he "was going to do something stupid."

The Dawson College shooting occurred on September 13, 2006 at Dawson College, located in downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The shooter, Kimveer Gill, began shooting outside the de Maisonneuve Boulevard entrance to the school, and moved towards the atrium by the cafeteria on the main floor. One victim died at the scene, while another 19 were injured, eight of whom were listed in critical condition, with six requiring surgery. The shooter later died by suicide, by shooting himself in the head, after being shot in the arm by a police officer. He appeared to be targeting female students.

Wednesday's school shooting in Washington State followed an intense few days of shootings.

On Tuesday, on September 12, 2017, a middle aged son of his mother who was in the ICU at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, New Hampshire, breached security, walked in and allegedly shot her four times, killing her.

Travis Frink, of Warwick, Rhode Island, stands with his attorney, Public Defender Rebecca McKinnon, during his arraignment in Grafton County Superior Court in North Haverhill, New Hampshire, on Sept. 13, 2017. Frink, 48, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his 70-year-old mother, Pamela Ferriere, on Tuesday in the intensive care unit at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Football Sunday was the time frame for another mass shooting.

Meredith Hight

On Sunday, September 10, 2017, Meredith Hight, 27, invited a group of friends over to her house in Plano, Texas, to watch football and grill. Meredith Hight hosted a party to watch her favorite team, the Atlanta Falcons, play Sunday afternoon, and then the local team, the Dallas Cowboys, play Sunday night.

“She was a cook, and a quite fine one, and she loved hosting friends and families,” her mother, Debbie Lane, told Dallas-based WFAA. “This was her first opportunity to do it after the divorce, and he didn’t take it well.”

The victims

According to the Plano Police Department, Hight’s estranged husband, Spencer Hight, opened fire on Hight and her friends around 8 p.m. When officers arrived at the residence after reports of gunshots, they found seven people fatally shot and two others injured. One person died later in the hospital. Hight’s husband was killed by an officer at the scene, bringing the death toll to nine. All the victims were in their mid-20s to early 30s.

The shooting happened about 8 p.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of West Spring Creek Parkway, near Custer Road.

The Plano incident ranks as the deadliest mass shooting of the year, matched only by another domestic violence shooting that occurred over the Memorial Day weekend. Neither crime received sustained media attention, despite the death tolls.

On Saturday, May 27, 2017, Sheena Godbolt was at her mother’s house in Brookhaven, rural Mississippi, also having a cookout and enjoying time with her family. She had left her husband, Willie Cory Godbolt, a few weeks earlier. He showed up at the house, and allegedly opened fire, killing her mother, her older sister and aunt, and a deputy who responded to the scene.

Godbolt (pictured above) then drove to two other houses where he allegedly killed other members of his wife’s family. By the end of the night, eight people were dead. He is currently awaiting trial.

The Mississippi spree shootings ended with the death of Lincoln County Sheriffs' Deputy William Durr who was killed in the line of duty on May 28, 2017.

In Texas and Mississippi, in both incidents, eight people were killed. In Texas, the final death toll was to nine when the police killed the gunman.

ISIS Is Terrible At Geography

It is being widely reported on July 26, 2016 that ISIS has warned that their next attacks will be on London and Washington, D.C.

Only problem is that ISIS does not seem to know where Washington, D.C. is and what structures exist there.

As the media is noting,
One picture chillingly shows New York’s Statue of Liberty engulfed in flames but with the caption “Washington soon” - referring to the US capital 225 miles away.

Name Game Killings Leave 5 Dead

The "Name Game" associated with shootings is not an amusement activity but an analytic view of situations in which we look for patterns, synchronistically.

In a violent incident occurring Friday, February 26, 2016, several names detailed in this Twilight Language blog, including Washington, Mason, and Bell, not to mention an individual name ~ Wayne ~ were brought to bear.

The murder-suicide event took place Friday, near the rural community of Belfair, Mason County, Washington State.

George Washington (1722-1799), a Freemason, whose membership is well-known and celebrated. The Masonic mapmakers have honored Washington by using his name throughout the landscape of America.

Authorities employed tear gas to flush out a suicidal man who had killed three family members and a neighbor. After he stepped outside his house, he used a gun to kill himself.

David Wayne Campbell, the killer, was 51.

Over 3½ hours, trained negotiators tried to persuade Campbell to surrender, but “it became evident that the suspect was not going to leave the residence voluntarily,” the sheriff’s office said. Deputies could see him pacing inside, often holding a handgun to his head. He pulled the trigger, soon after.

Authorities said they found four other bodies in a chicken coop on the remote, wooded property on Horseshoe Drive, near Belair.

The victims are Lana J. Carlson, 49; Quinn Carlson, 16; and Tory Carlson,18. David Wayne Campbell was married to Lana Carlson.

The Name Game in the names.

In Jim Brandon's 1983 book, The Rebirth of Pan: Hidden Faces of the American Earth Spirit, he writes, regarding the "name game":
I'm not talking here of such spooky tongue-twisters as H.P. Lovecraft's Yog-Sothoth or Arthur Machen's Ishakshar, but of quite ordinary names like Bell, Beall and variants, Crowley, Francis, Grafton, Grubb, Magee/McGee, Mason, McKinney, Montpelier, Parsons, Pike, Shelby, Vernon, Watson/Watt, Williams/Williamson. I have others on file, but these are the ones which I have accumulated the most instances.
In my 1983 Mysterious America, I wrote:
Cryptologic or coincidence? Jim Brandon should be credited with calling attention to the name Watts/Watkins/Watson, and its entanglement with inexplicable things. Some other names involved in mysterious events pinpointed by Brandon are Bell, Mason, Parsons, Pike, Vernon, and Warren. The influence of such names as Mason, Pike, Warren, and Lafayette, for example, issues, in some cryptopolitical and occult way, from their ties to the Masonic tradition.
Followers of the Dark Knight/Batman might think of "Bruce Wayne," but other associations come to mind when the name "Wayne" is heard.

Within the "weird news" field, it has been a well-known truism that if a criminal has a middle name of "Wayne," no one in the newsroom is surprised he is being charged with murder. The examples are multiple. The most famous case, of course, is John Wayne Gacy.

My colleague and correspondent Chuck Shepherd, has been a student of this "name game" for years. Here's what Chuck says about it, in an introduction to the topic:
The Classic Middle Name
It only occurred to me in the early 1990s that "Wayne" was a popular middle name among a few of the most heinous murderers of our time, e.g., the clown John Wayne Gacy (who killed almost three dozen boys and young men in the late 1970s and buried most of them beneath the floorboards of his Des Plaines, Ill., home) and Elmer Wayne Henley (sentenced to six consecutive life terms in 1974 in Houston for his role, with ringleader Dean Allen Corll, in the murders of 27 young men). I began to publish periodic lists in 1996, and soon readers made sure I never missed a one that made the news. Source, plus his impressively long list of names.

Some names carry more baggage than others.

Fayette Factor: Hurricane's Name Game

Rubin "Hurricane" Carter died on April 20, 2014. He was born on May 6, 1937, became an American middleweight boxer, was convicted of murder and later was freed via a petition of habeas corpus after spending almost 20 years in prison.

A book by Carter, a movie starring Denzel Washington as Carter, and a Bob Dylan song/album made this acknowledged troubled individual famous.
To understand Rubin Carter one must explore two different sides of his history. The split is between that of a psychopath killer (see here and here) and a racially mistreated prisoner (see here and here). I am not going to debate or even come down on one side or the other about the real man behind who the Hurricane might have been. There is a media creation and there is the man. Someone else can judge who that man may have been.

I merely want to briefly point out an incredible synchromystical overlapping of special names in Rubin Carter's history.

The various biographies, obituaries, and articles on Rubin Carter point out that "police arrested both Carter and friend John Artis for a triple-homicide in the Lafayette Bar and Grill in Paterson, New Jersey."

The date, June 17, 1966.

The time of the crime, 2:30 am.

The Lafayette Bar and Grill is located at 428 East 18th Street and the corner of Lafayette Street. 4+2+8+1+8 = 23.

No wonder The Last SHE has such a strong reaction to this "coincidence."

Another important name in the scenario is a form of Bell. See "The Bell Name."

Petty criminal Alfred Bello, who had been near the Lafayette that night to burglarize a factory, was an eyewitness. Bello later testified that he was approaching the Lafayette when two black males—one carrying a shotgun, the other a pistol—came around the corner walking towards him. He ran from them, and they got into a white car that was double-parked near the Lafayette.

1. The getaway car is park alongside the Lafayette Grill.
2. Bello heads to the bar to buy cigarettes and...
3. Confronts the two gunmen as they leave. He runs down the street as the car pulls away. Pat Valentine, another important eyewitness, sees its distinctive taillights from her second floor window above the bar.

Both Alfred Bello and Valentine were allegedly able to describe the distinctive tail lights of Carter’s white car in considerable detail.

Therefore comes forth another significant name, Valentine.

Why has the history of this one murder scene magnetically created a synchromystic name game tied to Rubin Carter? No one knows.

This curious moment in history has certainly mushroomed into a cultural event beyond what anyone could have imagined in 1966, that is for certain.

Hidden Hand Name Game: Columbia, Tecumseh, Lincoln, Lafayette, Washington and More

What's the synchromystic common denominator here?

Why do a limited number of names seem to be linked to a majority of workplace violent events, school shootings, and suicide cases?

What is the common thread running through these lexilinks?

Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi (1834 - 1904), top photograph, was taken around 1880, by photographer Napoleon Sarony, Charles Scribner's Sons Art Reference Dept. records, Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution.

Bartholdi was a Freemason and the designer and sculptor of the Statue of Liberty in New York City's harbor. The Statue of Liberty is a representation of the Goddess Columbia. It is reportedly coded with secret society meanings and occult symbolism. Bartholdi was one of the early members of Lodge Alsace-Lorraine, Paris (Oct. 14, 1875), which was composed of prominent intellectuals, writers and government representatives.

The Bartholdi image and others in this essay, with the concealed hand in the coat, demonstrate the "Sign of the Master of the Second Veil," (7th Degree Mason) from Duncan's Masonic Ritual and Monitor, 1866.

Here are a few other examples of individuals - with the same pose - who have lexilinks to the name game (e.g. Columbia, Columbus, Lincoln, Tecumseh, and yes, Fayette). Infrequently, some of these events are bundled into what has been called the "Curse of Tippecanoe," or what Gary Cohen called the "Curse of Tecumseh." These are names we have discussed here at Twilight Language.

John Wilkes Booth (1838 - 1865) was a Freemason and an American stage actor who headed the plot to attempt to kidnap and then assassinate President Abraham Lincoln. JWB was the younger brother of Edwin Booth, also a Freemason and stage actor. According to some sources, because of Wilkes' notoriety, the Freemasons have quietly removed his name from their membership records.

Edwin Booth (1833 - 1893), Freemason, Shakespearean actor, was the older brother of American stage actor and assassin John Wilkes Booth. Edwin was initiated in the New York Lodge No. 330 on September 11, 1857. Edwin once declared, "...to be Worshipful Master and to throw my whole soul in that work, with the candidate for my audience, and the lodge for my stage, would be greater personal distinction than to receive the plaudits of the people in the theaters of the world."

According to some conspiracy sites, these photos show "Abraham Lincoln surrounded by Freemasons who were plotting his death a few weeks before he would be shot by John Wilkes Booth."

But actually, this is "The Tent Picture" of Allan Pinkerton, outside his quarters, after the Battle of Antietam, in October 1862, with President Lincoln and General John McClernand, a former Chicago attorney. In letters from William Pinkerton, who accompanied his father during the Civil War as a 16-year-old cadet, he recalled that a portrait of the president alone had been planned, but Lincoln had ushered his two Chicago friends into the picture.

James A. Garfield (1831 - 1881) was a 14° Freemason and 20th President of the United States. His presidency ended with his assassination. He was initiated into Magnolia Lodge No. 20 of Columbus, Ohio, November 22, 1861. The third degree was conferred to him by Columbus Lodge No. 30, November 22, 1864. Garfield received the 4-14° ASSR (Southern Jurisdiction) on January 2, 1872 from Albert Pike, in Washington D.C. At his funeral, nearly all the officers of the Grand Commandery of Ohio, 14 commanderies of that state, and 8 commanderies from adjacent jurisdictions were present and participated in the funeral cortege.

William Tecumseh Sherman (1820 - 1891), one of Lincoln's generals, was allegedly a brutal American Civil War Union commander. His war polices of "scorched earth" against the South earned him the reputation, according to some authors, as the first "modern general." His burning of Atlanta is well-known. The name "Tecumseh" has been a hidden moniker linking some of 2014's school shootings.

Another famed general is shown here in the painting, The Emperor Napoleon in His Study at the Tuileries, by Jacques-Louis David, 1812.

Napoléon Bonaparte (1769-1821) was 5 feet, 7 inches, which was normal for his time, but the British newspaper cartoonists had him shown as much smaller for political reasons. His famous "hidden hand" images were a broadcast signal of his links to the Freemasonry Brotherhood.

Marquis de Lafayette (1757-1834), a 33° Freemason and French military officer, was a general in the American Revolutionary War and a leader of the Garde Nationale during the bloody French Revolution. Lafayette was also made an honorary Grand Commander of Supreme Council of New York. More than 75 Masonic bodies in the U.S. have been named after him, including 39 lodges, 18 chapters, 4 councils, 4 commanderies, and 7 Scottish rite bodies. See also the Fayette Factor.

George Washington (1722-1799), a Freemason, whose membership is well-known and celebrated.

Washington Named Locales Hit Hard By Tornadoes

A lone bell symbolizes the damage of the EF4 tornado in New Minden.

After so much news along the old Route 66, are we surprised to see where these tornadoes struck?

The town of Washington and New Minden, Washington County, in two parts of the State of Illinois, were deeply involved in the tornado strikes on Sunday, November 17, 2013.

The Washington County Coroner’s Office in southern Illinois has confirmed two deaths attributed Sunday’s EF4 tornado that touched down in the New Minden area.

Joseph R. Hoy, 80 and his sister Frances J. Hoy were killed Sunday as a result of a tornado that touched down in the New Minden, Illinois area. The Hoy’s lived on a farm in the 14000 block of Eagle Road that was completely destroyed.

Josephs Hoy died from massive head trauma, he was located in a field about 100 yards from his home. His sister Frances died at the Washington County Hospital, from injuries suffered from the tornado.

Meanwhile, southwest of Chicago, the town of Coal City was hit by a confirmed EF2 tornado, determined after an initial NWS survey of the area.

One death was also reported in Brookport, in Massac County, Illinois, according to Charles Taylor, deputy director, Massac County Emergency Management. Taylor added the town was heavily damaged and numerous injuries have been reported.

The town of Washington, in Tazewell County, Illinois, appeared particularly hard-hit, with one resident saying his neighborhood was wiped out in a matter of seconds by a tornado.
